  1. Most versions should have martial arts. She has Stealth almost equal to Batman. Canonically, she has a photographic memory.

    Fear AOE?

Line of Sight is the Range of mental powers. AFAIK, you don't need any special modifier to go through walls. Unless a wall has Mental Defense.
  3. I used to make my own paper standies, usually by glueing a drawing to a cut-up notecard. I bought some Silver Age Sentinels a while back but there really aren't a lot of supers minis. Reaper's Chronoscope offers a nice variety of minis for supers games, though not a lot in the underwear-on-the-outside classic spandex look. Still, there's military, criminals, futuristic armor, ninjas, dark champions, and so forth. They do have a Shadow Talon, a Russian sniper, a warrior nun, a bow-wielding marksman, and some others.
  4. Simulating spells is a little different, since you need to have similar kinds of spells if you want a similar milieu. Like if a D&D wizard can throw a fireball, then a Hero wizard needs to be able to throw a fireball. An Eberron warforged has some construct-like traits, whatever rules-set you are using.
  5. Well, there are different ways of representing a huge, invulnerable dragon. The question I have is, what would you use this writeup for? Traditionally dragons are supposed to get slain, but it would be extraordinarily difficult for this dragon to be slain by anything.
  6. Compose - likely this is PS: Writing Dancing - PS: Dancing Falconry - Animal Handler and if you're using focused skills it's with raptors. If this is a particular specialty of your character, Skill Level: +1 with Animal Handler, KS: Falconry and PS: Falconer Flirting - Conversation, Charm if you're willing to go all the way. Maybe better as a talent, +5 PR, only for flirting Presence Attacks Heraldry - in a Pendragon context, High Society covers this to some extent, KS: Heraldry for a specialist Hunting - Tracking, and at least Familiarity with Survival Play Musical Instrument - PS: Musical instrument Read - just part of the languages rules Tourney - in a Pendragon context, High Society covers the basics, the rest would be covered by KS: Chivalric martial arts Battle - Tactcs, Teamwork
  7. If it's "technology," it's cash. If it's a powerful item, it's magic and costs points. So, for instance, in Tolkien, a mithril shirt is magic, and costs points. But in a setting where the city watch wears mithril shirts and has repeating crossbows, that's all cash. One way to avoid all this is to avoid trivial magical items and situations that require them entirely. Heroic fantasy usually works better if characters invest in CSLs rather than "+2 broadswords" and such. A better magical sword is Armor-Piercing, or intelligent, or ignores non-living armor and cuts only flesh, or simply sheds heatless light without fuel.
  8. I guess one question is, should he? I guess it depends on how powerful and supernatural you want trolls to be. I would see it as a balancing factor. He can buy up his END and recovery. And he doesn't always have to use full strength; at the end of the round, why not use just 25 Strength and Haymaker?
  9. A weapon with an expanded crit range in D&D usually just has +1 OCV in Hero System. Which logically helps against hit locations. If you wanted to translate a 5e barbarian's brutal critical, try Deadly Blow (blows to neck). A fighter (champion)'s Improved Critical is probably just two CSLs. Honestly there aren't a lot of D&D weapons that don't already have Hero stats somewhere. Is there something you're struggling with?
  10. Hit Location x2 Body is after defenses, so no good. I'm wondering what the heck kind of dragon this is; many dragons are said to have hides "tougher than steel" but this has more than double the resistant defenses of plate armor. Sure, it's up to 32m tall, but this thing could eat a lot of superheroes for breakfast.
  11. What in your campaigns would conceivably breach the dragon's scales? How would you kill a dragon?
  12. In CN, SPD 3 actually is pretty common for "fast characters" so I'm fine with it being modal.
  13. Probably the most realistic depiction of heavy armor would be that it costs END in some fashion. But I want to draw back a bit... STR 20 isn't reasonably strong, that person is strong even by the standard of knights and mercenaries.
  14. Buy down the characteristic and then apply Focus to the reduction.
  15. Harris's position on retrials is a disgrace. But apart from that, her record as a pragmatic progressive is exceptional and I think she will do well.
  16. Put OIF on the bow, OAF on the slots that require you to actually shoot. Alternatively, the bow is OIF but the shooting slots are Restrainable. Alternatively, the bow it's a focus at all. It's Alternate ID, maybe Restrainable for the shooting, that's it.
  17. Indeed, one of the motivation of Thorin's company was apparently that they were once aristocratic warriors and builders, reduced to (shudder) coal-mining.
  18. Hekate is probably related to other "mother goddesses" like Ishtar, Isis, and Kali, whom the Greeks incorporated into heathen worship, and whom became ambivalent, sorcerous or even diabolic figures in Greek society. The name Solitaire fits, but is variously taken. She sounds honestly more like Hermes or Coyote than a forbidding goddess. You could pick something just generally Wiccan-themed: Tryptich, Harvest Moon, New Moon. Something shadowy: Dusk, Darkling, Umbra.
  19. Mail-in balloting has worked for decades without any discernible problems. Further, if someone did commit mass mail theft, they would go to jail for 1000 years and all the affected people would be given the opportunity to cast new ballots by the election commissioner.
  20. Wood Elf, probably not. Wood elves in ME are "dark elves," which is to say they just never visited the Shining Shores. I would use the High Elf package with a toned down Intelligence and Presence, and a different cultural package. Dunedain, strictly, aren't all that different from the Westerners and other common folk. Probably +1 Body and Con due to their height and heartiness, and more likely to be good-looking. Conceivably they might get a slight boost to PRE or EGO but we don't see a lot of them, outside Aragorn himself, so that's speculative. Aragorn, with his pure blood and Maiar and elf ancestry, also gets an extended lifespan, but those aren't common traits outside his bloodline.
  21. I think for elves you could use the Elf template from Fantasy Hero Complete, with the High Elf lens, except I wouldn't give them an EGO bonus. The dwarf package is probably fine as it is.
  22. They do not have to be identical.
  23. well, if it's obvious the character is homeless, and the characters gets a negative reaction, that's Unusual Looks. If NPCs come along and are like, "Move along, you bum!" and the character's Presence is ineffective, that's Hunted. If the character is secretly homeless, that's a Secret Identity. If the character is a giant radioactive mutant that lives in a ditch, and people don't bother them, that's not really a situation.
  24. Step one would be deciding on an approach to magic.
  25. Reaper https://www.reapermini.com/search/ninja It looks like the Dragonblade ninja from Death Knell D&D Miniatures can be had for about $10.
