  1. Re: Fortune favours the brave I don't want to put words in people's virtual mouths, but I think he said he did like it.
  2. Re: One Last 6E Preview: The Covers! I like the covers, the colors remind me of the BBB in some ways, and I'm fine with a minimalist cover design. A slight color or contrast difference would have been nice to make them easy to distinguish on a shelf or in a pile, but I'm sure I'll be able to get by. I'm really looking forward to purchasing them as soon as they're available.
  3. Re: New Mechanic: Movement Interesting idea, but I think this is a solution looking for a problem.
  4. Re: Sixth Edition Showcase #7: Damage Over Time and Time Limit Another bit of coolness. I'm pretty excited about the new rules, and will buy them as soon as they are available... now if only I had a group to play with in Reno
  5. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Personally I prefer the Timm style with dainty feet.
  6. Re: Telepathic race with no other sensory organs That is both wicked cool and quite believable given the number of symbiotic relationships that occur in the natural world. I would rep you but gotta spread it around first.
  7. Re: 6E Rules changes confirmed so far That's a little scary. I hope what we finally see is not something that most people hate the least, but something that a majority of the people actually like.
  8. Re: Fantasy Art Thread Nice work; repp'ed. I as well liked the insect and the map is nicely done too.
  9. Re: Top 5 Favorite 5E Supplements Interesting stuff. I compiled all of the entries so far to see what the favorites were. I've hidden the results in a spoiler tag if you haven't voted yet and don't want to be influenced by the masses. For those interested, here's the raw data:
  10. Re: Ironclad's origin story. Good stuff, can't wait for the rest of it.
  11. Re: Fantasy Star Wars. Must spread rep around blah blah blah...
  12. Re: Star Wars coolness That was very, very cool. Not really interested in the game, but the trailer is amazing - I wish the movies were done that well.
  13. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Now at least we know why he's sad
  14. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Very cool You must spread rep around blah blah blah.

    Beholder

Re: Beholder My initial reaction to this was that a follower doesn't necessarily do what it's told, but looking at the rules they can be considered slavishly loyal, so then I thought maybe that could be valid. However, the rules for Duplication have specific verbiage under the Cannot Recombine (-0) limitation that explicitly cover simulating a body with multiple parts that can attack or function semi-independently.
  16. Re: Urban Fantasy Hero now in the online store Your link is malformed - here it is. Nice review - I might have to pick this one up. EDIT: Missed this in my first pass through the review - Reno NV is in the book. Now I definitely have to get it, if for no other reason than my home town is mentioned - now we're famous!
  17. Re: Will'o the wisp Italian for "Very Well Then" (thanks Google Translate http://translate.google.com/translate_t?hl=en#it|en|Molto%20bene%20allora)
  18. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Weird because I saw all of them. /shrug You do really nice work Heckus - I would Rep you again, I have to spread it around yadda yadda.
  19. Re: Shadowsoul's Monster Corner I really like the Haunt ideas that have been posted on this board. These two are also very good. The non-Haunt is something that we've seen the effects of in various movies, TV shows, etc. It reminds me of BIG, or the Freaky Friday movies, or something along those lines.
  20. Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Awesome soliloquy! Repped
  21. Re: Shadowsoul's Monster Corner That's very cool Curufea. Repped

    Half-Golem?

Re: Half-Golem? It does sound pretty cool. Pulling it off requires some finesse and players that are willing to play in that kind of game. A lot of people would feel like they are being railroaded, and some don't like that. I would love a game like that if it was done right - destiny is tough to do in roleplaying games.
  23. Re: Arcane Archer Type Character You could go the multipower route for the shots, and have a Focus limitation, expendable, for the ammunition (Imbued Arrows). The arrows are easy to obtain since the character can create them with the Imbue Arrow spell, and you can use an Imbued Arrow for any of the powers in the MP, so you don't have to walk around with a quiver full of Flame Arrows.
