Pattern Ghost
That's a disassembled Opinel knife. It's an older design (a bit over 100 years) that's still in production, that uses very few parts. The collar around the top is a locking ring. Here's a pic of an assembled one: And here's a look at the locking mechanism: These are pretty popular among knife collectors due to the unique lock, the super low weight, low price and good blade steel. The thin blades make them excellent slicers and wood carvers. tkdguy

Starlord
So, the new Joker is actually just a young David Bowie impersonator. Burrito Boy, Pattern Ghost and death tribble

Enforcer84
So, the new Joker is actually just a young David Bowie impersonator. I'm a put off that they've turned the joker from a madman/monster/buffoon to ...sexy, in the last few films.
Lucius
So, the new Joker is actually just a young David Bowie impersonator. That's got to be some kind of joke....right? Pariah
I'm a put off that they've turned the joker from a madman/monster/buffoon to ...sexy, in the last few films. Sexy? To me, he looks like Edward from Twilight, but less interesting.
Sociotard
I'm okay with it. Green hair, white skin, red lips, purple suit. That's the only real rule for the joker's look. He looks dangerous to me.
Logan D. Hurricanes
I have real difficulty imagining the Joker sitting for tattoos like that. But this is obviously not any Joker I know and/or love so meh. At least he hasn't ripped his own face off to be "edgy."

He looks dangerous to me. He also has to have a stupidly big grin on his face. (The one on his stomach doesn't count.) To me, that's the most defining trait. Sociotard
Scars aside, Heath Ledger's Joker didn't always smile, and he worked for me. And lots of the promo clips show the new joker with a psychotic smile.
Zeropoint
I still think that Mark Hamil's joker was the best one. Heath Ledger was good, and that whole franchise was an interesting take on the Bat-verse, but the "Batman: the Animated Series" version is going to be hard to dethrone as THE Joker for me.
