Nothere
So I was thinking in the four live action fantastic four films Doctor Doom was the only villain in three of them, and one of three villians in the fourth. If the ff reboot film has a sequel it's really time for some other FF foe to take the lead. But who?
Christopher R Taylor
Mole Man really should have been the villain in the first FF movie. Intro Doom, but in the background, for next film.
zslane
I might go with Submariner.
drunkonduty
Subby! Great choice @zslane But he'd have to be the guy who does the heel-face turn half way through. Which would still beg the question who's the real villain. As to the list... NOT Puppet Master. Introduce Felicia (Alicia?) some other way. Don't know who Diablo is. Regards Mad Thinker although I know the name I know nothing about him. Molecule Man is too... I dunno... lacking in charisma. Super Skrull is okay but I worry that introducing the Skrull would take a lot of movie. They would definitely work better as being in the background for one movie and coming in in full force the one after. That leaves Blastaar and the Negative Zone. The Negative Zone works for me as a great example of the whole "science explorers" thing that the FF do. Weird space with weird beings. All nice and simple, which is good for a movie. But I'd go Annihilus over Blastaar. Or Mole Man. He's a bit lame. But the stealing buildings thing is cool. And his nefarious subterranean shenanigans could be the thing that provokes Submariner. Mmm. In the end I've voted Blastaar but really it's a vote for Annihilus. How's that for a whole pile of equivication. dmjalund
Why no Annihilus ? don't be so negative
Nothere
Same reason no Frightful Four. I forgot. Sorry Annihius/ Fright mans. Fortunatly we can always have a write in. Quick someone vote for Mickey Mouse:)
bubba smith
this looks like a job for the SUPER-SKRULL
Christopher R Taylor
Hatemonger was a good villain, too. But Mole Man is the one.
Cassandra
Puppet Master would be able to manipulate the members of the team against each other. That's always fun.
Christopher
don't be so negative I think he zoned out there for a bit.
Comic
At least no one said 'Beyonder'.
Nothere
Oh and speaking of people I forgot to put on the list. Red Ghost. O.k. it's my first effort at doing a poll. I didn't do that bad.
Christopher R Taylor
Mole Man has the advantage of requiring the FF to be the "explorers of the unknown" they were in the comics, focusing on examining the strange and scientific rather than creating their own problems like 90% of superhero movies. Seriously, if the superheroes just had left things alone or not become superheroes, most of these movies wouldn't actually have a conflict, particularly Fantastic Four. Steve
Mole Man has a sort of tragic majesty to him. He's a villain, pathetic in some ways, but he's understandable in his motivations.
CaptnStrawberry
Mole Man would be my pick, as others have said, he should be in the first movie. But he could be followed up by Blastarr and Annihilus - true to the comics the FF could trick them into fighting each other.
zslane
I fantasize about Marvel getting the FF back from Fox and doing their own proper take on them. And I like the idea of making Namor the villain for two reasons: first, they could pull an Apollo Creed and have him become a powerful ally in a future film, and second it would give Marvel yet another opportunity to show up DC who can't figure out how to get Aquaman into a movie. Balabanto
Mole Man should have been the first movie last time and he should be the first movie now. There's no doubt in my mind that this franchise can't be saved.

bubba smith
why the groening art?
L. Marcus
That's Hans Moleman.
Christopher R Taylor
The Underminer is a Mole Man homage, I'm pretty sure. The Incredibles had a good Fantastic Four vibe anyway, they had almost all the same powers and even a super-powerful kid. I'd post an image but for some reason its saying I can't use any image extension I try today.
steriaca
I 'vote' for the Frighfull Four. But who to replace Sandman in the lineup (Wizard, Traper, and Madusa can remain, thank you vary much)?
bubba smith
in the 90s animated series hydro man replaced sandman
steriaca
Both Hydro-Man and Sandman are earmark Spiderman villains, Sandy much more than Hydry. Hydro-Man can work, but someone else must be 'earth'...
