  1. Re: The Twelve (If you can think of a better name go forit) Dirty Dozen ?? The Quorum of Twelve ??
  2. In D&D you cannot resurrect Elves, how would you build that in FH? It seems too infrequent for a physical limitation, but how about a power limitation of some sort ?
  3. Re: Why Don't The Villains Kill? Actually with the power to raise the dead available why DON'T the villians kill ?????? Killing a superhero the seventh time is just as much fun as the first.
  4. Re: Body Sharing Multiform, on a timer, Ego roll to switch off timer Accidental Change- Being in one form for 24 hours, 14 or less to change. That way you might squeeze out extra time in one form with a roll. Mutiform 1 use, Continuing Fuel Charge, Every 24 hours, Side Effect (Accidental Change-Always) if EGO roll failed beyond 24 hour charge
  5. Re: Jeremiah - the Watcher I think the VOICELESS VOICES are supposed to be the voices of the other watchers. Maybe if he passes by a statue he can tell if it's a watcher or just plain stone???? May I suggest MIND LINK: the other watchers. Also for understanding other languages try TELEPATHY (read only/translate other languages.)
  6. Re: "Everyman" Magic? Way back I thought of a campaign based off the old Visionaries comic book/cartoon. Each character/PC would have some version of Multiform for their "animal" form, but since the comic book and cartoon were short lived it never got off the ground.
  7. Re: Weirdness Magnet Here's the write up from the Master List of Limitations; Weirdness Magnet Infrequent, Greatly: 10 Points Type: Social Description: Strange things happen to and around this character. This is not a truly threatening Disadvantage, but it is a continuous nuisance. The character constantly finds himself dealing with odd circumstances and (relatively) odd people. New-Agers and Psychics tend to encounter the character with incredibly frequency, oddball pairs of FBI Agents searching for the truth bump into him on a daily basis, and so on. The reasons for the character having this Disadvantage are up to the player.
  8. Re: Destroy Your Geek Cred!! I've never played MTG, but I do have a Yu-Gi-Oh deck. I think Ad&d is heavily flawed, but I'll play it anyway. The real hero of the LoTR is Gollum not Frodo. I've never read any of the X-Men comic books.

    Super City

Re: Super City How could people have not thought of this; The Time for a Change Phone Booth located near the dark alley. A perfect place for that hero who needs to get changed quickly and discretely. Notice the sign: Town not responsible for lost articles of civilian clothing or revealed Secret Identity resulting from some bum finding your wallet after you change here.
  10. Re: Gambling Skill Actually they went over this is The Ultimate Skill P196-199. It defines GAMBLING as being for non-athletic games, and games of chance. This includes things like; Domino's ,Bingo, Roulette, Chess, Blackjack, but also includes things like Sports Betting [football, baseball etc]. KS & PS can be used to Complementary Skill..[KS:Poker Strategy for example] and the Power :Luck helps too.
  11. Re: Focus or Limited Power? There is a limitation called "Requires Object of Opportunity", that seems to fit your needs. And yes you can have as many powers through the same focus as you want.
  12. Re: A good way to simulate rescuing people from a fallen buildling... I trust a supervillian is collapsing the building....How about a DEXTERITY roll to avoid making the rest of the building collapse.
  13. Re: Need help building up skill list/set for horseback riding archer Definately ANIMAL HANDLING (for training your horse), PENALTY SKILL LEVELS (Archery Stunts), RIDING should be greater then 12- if you expect to control your steed while using both hands for your bow.
  14. Settle an argument between me and a friend of mine.. Can Clairvoyance be used to project mental powers? I say you need Mind Scan, who's right?
  15. Re: Susceptibility to being in alternate Form This almost sounds like "Susceptibility to being Alive" as the being loses power while in Hero ID. The normal form seems to have a reluctance to stay in Secret ID thus forcing the issue of when they are in Hero ID. Maybe you could make it a SIDE EFFECT limitation on your Multiform thus you can get credit for it.
  16. Re: Human Library Eidectic Memory? Speed Reading?
  17. Does anyone know how the mechanics of this Limitation works? Lets say someone with Mind Control [Literal Interpretation] attacks a PC, does the GM just say to the player that the mind control can be taken literally??? Or does the target just somehow "know" that???

    Alien Jedi's

From what I can gather only humans can be Jedi Knights with Yoda being an exception. Does anyone know for sure if there is a rule stating that only humans can be Jedi's?
  19. Re: Water Boy Tackle How about a simple Move-through? Or a Sacrifice throw? With added Strength either way.
  20. Re: Making a magic System and need help
  21. Re: Magical Weapon Communicate with wielder ? Mind Link Imune to Fire? Armor ED, Force Field ED, Damage Reduction - ED Extra Damage? + xd6 HTH K vs (specific monsters only)
  22. Re: Memserist Vanishng Act Super-skill: Vanishing Act. Teleportation: Must pass through intervening Space(-1/4) possibly adding; Requires a Skill Roll, Only when observed
  23. Re: God of Redemption Maybe the religion requires it's priests to change clothes and wash hands after hearing each "confession" to assure that none of the "evil" has spilled over to them. When the darkness comes maybe they pervert this belief to the point of a compulsion/obsession (rupophobia) Or maybe just the opposite, they realize that those things were external and true "spiritual cleanliness" isn't on the outside so they abandon the faith as superstitious. Is there a cult of Ezemend? Is he still a primary figure in the "new" religion? If there is no judgment then maybe peoples morals start to fade, fast. Does "evil" then prosper? Maybe a cult arises based on decadence???
  24. Re: God of Redemption Sounds like the Duty of this religion is to;#1 admit that a person has done wrong, violated some widely professed ethic. #2 seek a way to "atone" for their wrongs. # 3 follow a life of "Lawful Good" ethics thereafter. Maybe there is a method of Atonement they must follow, which can be nearly anything you can imagine according to the severity of the "sin" Examples from the campaign history of people who have done wrong and what their fate was depending on whether or not they "changed their ways"
  25. Re: "Hail to the Condiment King, baby!" Wasn't he a villian on Word-Girl??
