  1. I was also thinking of the sword duel from Rob Roy where even Blocking was essentially costing Rob additional END to keep pace with Archibald's pace of attack. HM
  2. I would recommend a custom system of DEX Penalties based on the STR minimum to use the weapons (no more than a -3 at worst). I would never give a weapon a 'bonus' per se. Just allow characters to either purchase Limited PSL's to offset the DEX penalty or purchase an 'Advanced' Weapon Familiarity to eliminate the penalties. Still use the weapon length rules of course. HM
  3. You may want to reconsider after looking at my "Elastigirl" growth writup. HM
  4. Here are links to my rookie version of The Flash with examples of everything but TimeStop and Enter The Speedforce SpeedZone which would take a little XP to acheive. http://www.herogames.com/forums/files/file/59-barry-allen-6e-400/ https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?795840-HERO6E-My-rookie-JLA-builds&p=20707008#post20707008 HM
  5. That is only true IF the Multipower has only enough Reserve to only use 1 Slot at at time. It is possible to create a Multipower (as well as a VPP) with Fixed Slots where 2 can be used simultaneously and in that case 2 different 'Attack Powers' could possibly be used in a Multiple Attack Sequence. See my rookie Superman and Flash builds (6e VPP versions on this site. 5e Multipower versions on Killershrike.com) for examples. HM
  6. You may find this old post useful as well: Multipower vs VPP HM
  7. I guess I am assuming the "big block" section might be used by players that printed a copy of this sheet to actively track their current stats so it could be confusing in that circumstance. HM
  8. I really like the alternative Hit Location Rules worked out years ago below by an old board member: http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/14671-house-rules-for-hit-location/ http://www.realschluss.org/disavowed/house_rules/ It's a long read but well worth it. HM
  9. I like the a Drain vs. PRE with specific Limitations included. It's basically how I constructed my rookie version of Wonder Woman's Lasso of Truth's ability get "honest" answers out of anyone. I'm sure a similarly specific special effect could be constructed with the same tools here as well. HM
  10. I probably sound like a broken record but I think this a perfect fit for the "Stunning" option for Change Environment introduced in one of the Advanced Players Guides. If you do a search with my name you should be able to find a post with all the details of mechanics and cost. HM
  11. I know this is late but is there any chance of also getting a PDF of the Deluxe 4e Champions as well? https://rpggeek.com/rpgitemversion/5177/deluxe-printing HM
  12. I don't think it's a space issue. I think you need to create a secondary box for Stun, End and Body. My version of Superman should be displaying 60 Stun and 60 End as his 'primary' values in those stats (when not under a red sun or near kryptonite). HM
  13. I definitely have the 20 point complication. HM
  14. It still needs some tweaks to show 'secondary' characteristics like those found on my version of Superman. Other than that it looks really good. HM
  15. Considering the odds against a natural being so high (nearly 1in 200) I am usually in favor of the max damage or effect. HM
  16. I believe it means there is proof that YOU purchased the copy to discourage 'piracy'. HM
  17. Flight with a custom Limitation Only To Levitate at whatever value you and/or the GM feel is appropriate. HM
  18. If you really want to model the details of trained professional boxers an argument could be made that they all have a Limited version of Damage Reduction or Negation that is built with some version of Costs End. I would probably try to make that LTE as well. Definitely a pretty deep 'rabbit hole' to go down no matter what way you do it. HM
  19. The other often overlooked fact is that the current D6 centric Killing Attack damage scale is very VERY close to the damage scale in D&D which can be convenient when teaching new players. HM
  20. Sorry for the snappy response. Both APGs are great and worth adding to your collection. HM
  21. Did anyone even bother to read my original response to this thread? HM
