  5. The big problem is that the player may step on the other players toes. Mostly the blaster, if the blaster is as weak as you say. still it is a cool character concept that may full out any roll that is needed. hmm. Maybe have the elemental buy some background stuff for all four forms. Knowledge magic/plains... Mental Def for his non human mind... or help the blaster rebuild and tweak so the other players like the brick and martial artist do not overshadow them. Remember, all players should have there time in the spotlight, including the elemental. If you have him buy some non power-gaming stuff to tone him down, have it be useful at times.

  8. How do you wish for you mentalist to stand out? Maybe a Mind blade? A hand to hand mental attack. An AOE Mental Illusion? AOE, Pen and Cumulative
  9. I would go with 3x for some thing like having two vulnerabilities kick in. 1x for the normal damage 1x for the Blast Vulnerability and 1x for the Killing Vulnerability.
  10. Sounds like you do not want a Variable Power Pool (VPP) but the other Framework, Multi-power is not that bad to work with if you use Fixed Slots. You end-up with a list of powers that you can use one at a time. Yes, the Multi-power reserve is going to cost as much as the Active point cost of the biggest power (or more if you can have power up at a time) but the slots are cheap so the mage can learn new spells to play with.
  11. First off, what type of faerie are we talking about? Powers: magic based in the type of fae, Aid, Change Environment, Extra Dimensional movement, Images, Mind Control (charm) Summon, and Transform are just a start. a faerie from a pond is not going to be the same as a snow faerie

  14. Yes, pre-gen the characters. Try to show that once you 'build' a power then things are simple. i.e. make a Ball-Lightning attack other other power that have power modifiers. Then put the power and how it works on the character sheets. On the back of the sheet show how you built the power. Ball-Lightning: you call fourth a 4m radiusspher of ball lightning that lasts for some time. the 8d6 normal Blast that can move up to 12m per Phase that you get to act in. This will hit ever one inside the Ball-Lightning. Ball-Lightning costs endurance only to activate. Blast 7d6, Costs Endurance Only To Activate (+1/4), Constant (+1/2), Area Of Effect (4m Radius; +3/4), Mobile (12m per Phase; +1/2) (87 Active Points) on the back you would cover how and why you build the powper that way or some other power that shows you can create the hero as you want and once you made the hero it is as ez as any other system
  15. Have you looked at megascale? Costly to buy the first level, but hiting orbital only costs +1 1/2 The 4d6 RKA has a range of 600m and the levels of megascale ups it to 60,000 km
  16. well, you still have to spot the target, how hard is it to see a ship at planetary ranges?
  17. I still like my Killing Attack - Ranged 2d6, +8 Increased STUN Multiplier (+2) (90 Active Points) GM test from 5th ed. If the Gm does not see that as a problem the GM may need a clue.
  18. Have you looked at - Cannot Use Targeting (-1/2), No Range (-1/2)
  19. Or a Transform attack. It looks like the 'The Mind Worm' adds a templete to the host and healing the transform is killing 'The Mind Worm'
