  1. Yeah, so did Steve Jackson, Gary Gygax and other game designers. They were inspired by other games, movies and books to create their RPGs. So hey if you don't like it, than fine, don't start cursing out us because we think the game has merit.
  2. Agents can be useful in being a support group. They can be the ones who get whatever equipment may be needed for a mission or for an excuse to bring in a specialists. The are also good as a balancing act for a villian henchmen/agents. Instead of the supers having to battle legions of agents UNTIL's people can come in and keep them busy allowing the heroes the chance to take down the main bad guys.
  3. It could work, the only problem being trying to play the same characters consistantly in such a campaign. BTW, since we are on the subject what do you guys think of the new Twlight Zone show on UPN?
  4. There is a beta test file in the Digital Hero page
  5. Well I think we are also missing out on SuperMans other abilities aside from just superstrength. Remember that Clark doesn't have to get close to Thor in order to hurt him. He not only has heat vision he also has super-breath and independent flight. Thor needs his hammer to get around, SuperMan doesn't. Also even though SuperMan has only been active for about 10 years he also has access to Kryptonion knowledge and tactics. Also on the subject of Thor's hammer, what if SuperMan disarms Thor, does that even the odds. I mean all he would have to do is heat vision his hand and make Thor drop Mjornir and then use superspeed to pummel. All I am saying is don't just rule the Big Blue Boy Scout out just yet.
  6. Don't forget the other Star Trek episode "Miri" that also had another earth.
  7. That reminds me of the movie Blast from the Past. It was about a retired teacher and his family that live in a huge bomb shelter. They went down there during the Cuban Missile Crisis and stayed down when they thought that nuclear war had actually happened.
  8. I have a long running character of my wife's who is a valkrie named Isgerd. She was actually turned into a statue by Loki about 1,000 years ago along with her pegasus Tid-Bit. Her spell was actually broken when in the museum she was being displayed in. Some theives had broken in, knocked out the curator and accidentally broke Isgerd free of the spell. She was alot of fun, mostly because she didn't know anything about the world she was in, she could only speak ancient Norwegian and tend to kill opponents. In fact when she first appeared she was called a babe by some of the players and it stuck. Just imagine some big, blonde warrior woman on a huge pegasus warhorse and a big sword. Now imagine her saying "Hullo! I am Isgerd, I am a babe!" Now she is a rich woman who works at a local Bally's as an aerobics/self defense instructor. She got alot of her money putting her Tid-Bit out to stud service. She is also one of the most powerful supers in my game.
  9. I said it before, and I will say it again. If you don't like the game don't play it. Nuff said!
  10. I am now presently running a Golden Age Champions game with a more military feel to it. The PC's are a team of super powered commandos who go on missions no regular soldier can handle. I have just finished a rather long adventure in which Dr. Qual was inventing teleportation devices in different parts of the world. These devices were weakening the fabric of space/time and creating world threatening events. They finally managed to finish the adventure in occupied Paris and then immediatedly found themselves transported to the U.S.S. Eldridge during the Philadelphia Experiment when it was being raided by an extra-dimensional race known as Xylars.
  11. And speaking of the Hulk..... The Comic Book Hulk vs. the Body-painted, Lou Ferrigno, TV Incredible Hulk.
  12. When Gravitar wants to marry you and be a stepford wife.

  14. He was also good in Toy Soldiers. My big problem with Wesley Crusher was that here is a cadet, albeit a smart cadet, but a cadet none the less, who is working on the bridge of the Enterprise. I mean if I was an ensign onboard the ship and Chief Medical Officers son is working the bridge I would be just a little upset. That was the only thing I just couldn't get.
  15. I go to the Digital hero page and log in. My log in is fine but when I click to go buy more credits the link I click doesn't go to the page.
  16. Your character sheet is about as thick as your copy of FRED!
  17. I keep trying to buy more credits but when I click on the tab it will not go to the page.
  18. I have used it a couple of times. It is good to use if you are stuck on an idea for a character. I usually will roll one up initially and then just change what does not fit.

  20. There was the Stan Lee's present Supeman story were he is an alien cop hunting down a fugitive. He ends up getting a PR agent to help publicize his powers by the name of Lois Lane and calls himself Clark Kent simply because he needed a name to use.
  21. What do you mean too many character sheets!?!?!!?!? You can never have enough sheets!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D
  22. Galactia 80 was really bad stuff. In fact, about the only thing that was good in that series was the episode with Starbuck. The rest was galactically bad. I do remember the dialogue that Starbuck and Cylon had. It went something like. Starbuck: So why do you want to kill humans? Cy: So we can win the battle. Starbuck: And then what? Cy: Bring order to the galaxy Starbuck: And then what? Cy: uhhhhhhhhhhh?
  23. This is one of my favorites. I particulary like the artwork that is much like the Batman/SuperMan/Justice League cartoons. http://members.tripod.com/the_keeper0/
