  1. Ok, we have already done the challenge with the Powerpuff girls and the Teen Titans, so how about two more? This time its the Justice Friends and the Wonder Twins!
  2. Re: A new Silver Age Hero like world The City of Townsville!
  3. LOL I love it! All we need now is a write-up!
  4. It looks good, but my only real problem is that you have almost no skills.
  5. I think the reason no one has come up with this is because of the power level. I mean we talking 600 pts here.
  6. One television show that hasn't been mentioned but has both science fiction and sorcery is the animated show Samurai Jack. It is a futuristic setting ruled by Aku, a powerful shapeshifting wizard. It has both mythical beast and magic along with aliens and ray guns. Very cool cartoon.
  7. Hi, I am planning on running a Star Hero campaign using the Terran Empire universe. However I have never really done anything but Superheroes with Hero and I would like to try something else. I am however stuck on an idea about what first adventure to run. So I was just wondering if you hero guys were planning on coming out with an introductory adventure for people new to genre. It would be very helpful to me as I haven't run Sci-fi since my Traveller days as a teenager.
  8. There are a few things I couldn't help but notice that seemed wrong here. 8m 1) Armor (20 PD/20 ED) (60 Active Points) 3m 2) Damage Resistance (25 PD/25 ED) (25 Active Points) IIRC you can only put powers that initially cost endurance into a multipower. Now maybe your GM allows this but as far as I can recall you can only put Force Field into a framework. Another thing that sort of makes me wonder is why didn't just get only in hero id as your limitation instead of OIF. It would have simulated things alot better IMO.
  9. CHICKENNNNNN MANNNNN!!!!!!!!!! HE'S EVERYWHERE HE'S EVERWHERE!!!!!!!
  10. I think those are from Fantasy Hero. In the latest version of Hero Designer they are included in the program. What they do however I don't know because I don't have Fantasy Hero.
  11. Actually he would also have a public ID as Clark Kent since he is recognized and known worldwide. He is kind of like the Dan Rather of the D.C. universe.
  12.  OH MY GOD!!! That is digusting.
  13. Just to be perverse, let the next challenge be a character on 350pts. total that is totally tricked and munchinized. Create a GM's nightmare. Point whore like crazy.
  14. Here is my attempt at making such a character. It is defintely open for critique. They have always been able communicate telepathically between each other. Aside from this they couldn't have been more different. While Tommy was weak physically he possessed an incredible intelligence that was considered a genius level. Timmy however was a huge athletic type but slow intellectually. He excelled in sports and was top in his wrestling team. He barely made it through school however but managed to with his brothers help. As one could imagine the brothers were very close to one another and helped each other out complementing one anothers weaknesses and strengths. had always been careful to keep thier powers a secret even from their parents. They would have probably stayed that way until one day Mind Inc came to visit their school. This front for PSI was using this ploy to find young psionics that they could recruit to their organization. With their equipment they were able to detect the brothers mind link and attempted to recruit them. When they were offered they refused initially until Psimon threatened to expose them. Having no choice they both conceeded, first Tommy then Timmy who was convinced that he couldn't resist them. came next was a battery of tests made concerning their latent powers. At first the tests were harmless but as time went and little progress was being made the tests became more painful and invasive. Finally when both brothers were thrown into a holding cell to await their fate both Tim and Tom finally came into contact with one another and a strange merging developed. They literally felt their bodies and minds merging together as one. They saw that they had been transformed into an incredibly powerful being with superhuman strength endurance and power! They also realized that both the skills and abilities of the two remained in this cojoined form. They immediatedly broke out of the cell and escaped. They found that they could seperate and rejoin whenever they needed too with the exception that they needed to physically touch one another to do so. They then decided to fight for justice and freedom and hot babes as MegaMan! 15. Actually one comic I can think of that was very much in the Dark Champion style of game but with rather high or at least standard level supers was Erik Larsen's Savage Dragon. Dragon was basically a cop with super powers who primarily fought superhuman criminals. Just a thought.
  16. I am presently involved in a Hero Central game called Vipers in ye duste. In this game Supers took over the world and reduced most of humanity back to the middle ages. This is because the Super Lords believe that technology will be thier downfall. We are playing normals on the run who just found an abandoned VIPER base.
  17. Maybe the Punisher could come and visit for awhile. He could clean up most of Gotham oh, in about a week starting with Arkham.
  18. Yowsa! She can rule me anytime.
  19. You have just been involved in a long and exhausting adventure and now that the day is saved again thanks to you you finally go to bed to get some sleep. You wake up the next morning feeling rather strange. You then look down at yourself and realize you have been changed overnight into your opposite sex! What do you do?!
  20. Make her a Brick with 75 Str, 7'6" tall and a pair of 44 EEE breast. Then name her IMAGE girl.
  21. I want to see the Jonah Hex write-up! D.C. had some good western heroes too.
  22. I used the character Shocktrooper from the Golden Age Champions sourcebook for my GAC game. He is an S.S. officer who was transformed into a cyborg by Dr. Qual and was indebted to him until the Doctor apparently had died. He was an honorable German officer as opposed to a goose stepping Nazi.
  23. Thank you, but I think I will just create my own.
  24. Well, it looks like I ain't getting any support here.
  25. Not to get on to a White Wolf riff, but this is what I have always hated about most of thier products. They seem to have this 'Moses coming down the mountain', kind of mentality about thier campaign setting so that if they say such and such happened then you are out of line for changing it. Another thing I disliked intensely about their World or Darkness was how every important historical figure was either a supernatural being or influence by one. It's like plain ordinary non-powered humans cannot do anything without being helped by some Mage, Werewolf or Vampire. I read the Children of Gaia tribebook and according to that the Children were responsible for every major accomplishment in the world. That's all for now.
