  2. I'm building Supers Characters for my campaign. These characters have a slightly strange divide in my camapign World. I am looking for East Coast Superhero ideas/classics/Icons The East and West coast characters (the mighty Missippi is the demarkation of the characters groupings) are generally pulled to be repersenative of their regions. They should be a quite balanced powerful group of supers that are primarily drawn from the Eastern Iconic ideals (think: good fit for the East Coast Avengers,NYC style Superteams, etc...) (although some like Superman and Batman are slightly more East Coast, Captain America and Wonder Woman would be Universal and they dont have to be just 'Eastern') So Who/what would you think would be a good choice for Inclusion in an East Coast Avengers style Group?

  5. Re: 7 Sci-Fi Series Ripe for Movie Reboots Absolutely, biggest ratings for 6M man were for Jamies intro episodes. SCi Fi recently had a review of both series hosted by their respective stars. Bionic Woman definately had the edge in ratings for the day.

  8. Re: Dark galaxy crashing into the Milky Way I wonder if these can be used to refresh our stars, possibly adding much to the lifespan of our solar system.. OTOH if this regularly occurs then stopping it may be a very bad thing, especially if it reduces the time between a star running and it going cold. Dam well could change all sorts of claculations and assumptions we have about a stras duration.
  9. Re: CHAMPIONS 6E -- What Do *You* Want To See? Perhaps a Point Divisor for building characters who fit within concept guidelines? Much like the Magical Spell breaks from the FH. Building a reasonable Cloak power (or using someones prebuilts, thus reinforcing a legacy idea) then getting a price break.

  12. Re: CHAMPIONS 6E -- What Do *You* Want To See? not sure what section this would go in but How about a few ideas for Helping Player characters to use the trappings of the Age? For example a good reason to wear a cape, and a brightly colored Super suit for Bronze/Silver/Golden age heros Ie NPC's Having NND (defense is: Being an Alien, Wearing a Super Suit) Cape as a SFX for a prebuilt set of defenses that could violate some of Campaign Maximums. Brightly Colored Costumes that may aid Pre attacks, or provide bonuses to protecting Civilians etc...

  18. Re: Turakian: Indusharan and women - typo / errata? it's even more complex than that. Womens rights fluxuated from the 1600's to the 1920's women could vote at points in New York prior to the 20's but it was lost for various social reasons.

  20. Re: Supervillains and Philosophy err there may be the beggnnings of that according to some very scary police reports. Jack is an overpublicised killer. Honestly his kill/time ratio isn't impressive.
  21. OK I have a question about rapid attacking and skill levels. Does the Rapid attacker need to assign his skill levels per attack or does he just assign them to the manuver? ie does a character taking 3 attacks take 6 base OCV and assign for example 7 relevant Skill levels to + OCV or does he need to assign 3 to one attack and two each to each attack?

  24. How bad can Change Environment get? I was thinking of (for exmple) Combining CE, possibly Selective, and gradual effect together (the Gradual effect makes the rolls progessively more difficult over time rather than all at once) to create a poison or disease rather than using damage. But if the 'side effects' of missing a CE roll are too minor then it wouldn't be worth it.
