Yeah there's no way we get another streaming service, especially just to watch Disney content.  I can comfortably live without ever seeing anything from Disney again.

    Super easy.

    Barely an inconvenience.

It's okay she got the name Black Bat.  I have no problem with new heroes, but giving the names to weak copies.

Here's what the Closet spell looks like

    CLOSET
EFFECT: Stores materials for later retrieval
    Active Cost: 6                                                      Range: no
    Real Cost: 1                                                         Gesture: yes
    Spell Roll: -1                                                         Incantation: yes
END Cost: (2)                                                       Side Effect: no
Casting Time: minute                                         Concentrate: ½ DCV
    Focus: no
The mage is able to place items into a dimensional pocket with this spell, a safe place away from this world which only they can access.  The Closet remains available as long as the caster maintains the spell, but if it ever is disrupted or ended, all the contents immediately are ejected in the vicinity of the caster.
Closet is built on the power Extradimensional Space which is given in the Advanced Player’s Guide II.  This is a persistent power and the user always knows what is in their Closet and can see into it.

POWERS: Extradimensional Space 1 cubic meter
MODIFIERS: Costs END Only to Start (+¼); Bonus (-1), Extra Time One Minute (-1½), Gesture (-¼), Incantation (-¼), Concentrate ½ DCV (-¼), Costs END (-½), Only inanimate objects (-½) [+¼; -4¼]

This isn't news, really. This is all part of Disney's grand plan. We all know that Disney is not renewing any contracts with other networks or streaming providers in order to direct viewers to Disney+.

Well, in a point-based game, you don't want to be ripped off.  I mean if I have a concept that I'm tall, its not worth 50 points to be slightly taller than everyone else.  That has to be a consideration at least at some level.

Making a multipower necessary in order to simulate boosting skill is not something that I personally would like to do. Seems excessive, especially in an Heroic campaign.

I'm just wondering why OCV/DCV are costed at 5pts a point?

Back in the 4e era, there was something I referred to as "The Trifecta of Cobble.". The Trifecta was (clearly, and it was a "Trifecta") three powers that could be used to kludge anything:
    Desolidification, Extra-dimensional Movement, and Transform.

Desolid was used for any kind of defense:  Desolidification: only versus damage

EDM was used to warp reality any way you want: EDM: move team to the dimension where we won this fight without even trying

And Transform was used to fill in the gaps.  Why Heal him when you can transform him into "the same guy in perfect health with double the dice in all his powers"?

That being said, I would suggest, respectfully, that you double-check your concept and be certain that you are not confusing game effects with special effects: just because the game effects say Stretching doesn't mean that he isn't warping reality; it doesn't even mean that he _is_ Stretching.  It just means that the game effect (the mechanic) has an end result that is best modeled using the mechanic of Stretching.

Yeah the extradimensional spaces in APG2 is the easiest and cleanest way to go.  That's how I built the "Closet" spell in the Fantasy Codex.

I'm in the "old adventures" camp myself.  Even though they are fairly compatible, they are out of print and difficult to find.  New editions specifically for the latest version of Hero would make it much, much easier for Champions GMs to get a game started.  Game companies claim that modules don't sell enough to be worth their while but that's a fallacy: its not very easy to play your game if all you have are rules.

Plus: once everyone has bought the rules that are going to, your revenue stream stops.  Adventures are a continual source of money that you can keep publishing.  And unlike "splat books" they don't tend to ruin the game or turn into crass exploitation.  People like modules.  Even if they never run modules, they collect 'em.

The big advantage of rebuilding old scenarios is that its a heck of a lot less work than the sourcebooks.  I'd love someone to rebuild Kingdom of Champions but things have changed so much it would take an insider to straighten it all out, then probably protesters would show up and block traffic or something

In the Advanced Player's Guide 2 pages 27-28 is the power Extradimentinal Spaces. It is an optional power which is used to simulate just that. It cost a base 5 Character Points to have a 1 cubic meter storage space, and it can be expanded (x2 volume) per +5 CP.

It can easily be added with Object Creation, pages 32-34 of the same book. The "Object Creation" simulates various rather normal objects stored away, and can be put back into storage without eating up space.

You'd think VIPER would have developed a strong distaste for creating weapons they cannot control. To continue doing so after desertion/betrayal happens time and time again is not exactly a brilliant strategic plan. And that's why VIPER is not taken as seriously as it deserves to be as a threat.

And with their resources and influence VIPER should be a threat. Taking on massive global conspiracies capable of turning random people into supervillains (especially if they can make or keep them loyal) is something even superheroes shouldn't take lightly. And VIPER doesn;t need to rob banks -- if anything, they may own banks.

I actually have a set of game proposals based on Star Trek.

    Enterprise Done Right
    Voyager Done Right
    The Rebel Generation

With the first one, I'd eliminate the anachronistic technology.  They'd be armed with lasers and "impulse torpedoes" with and without nuclear warheads.  They wouldn't have transporters (on the ship that is.  I'd have it as a buggy prototype on a research station).  They'd get battle damage reports in the form of hull breaches and casualty figures.  The focus of the campaign would be visiting each of the human colonies, helping them with their problems and use that to convince them to integrate with the United Earth Federation now that faster warp drive makes that possible.

With the second one, I'd make a simple change.  They aren't 70 years away from home.  More like 7.  I'd also call it the Ulysses and have it encounter adaptations of the Odyssey because "subtle" is my middle name.  I'd dispense with the Maquis thing.  That was an idea that just didn't work.

The third one is just TNG interpreted cynically.  Earth and by extension the Federation are under the sway of a bureaucratic cabal using genetic engineering, propaganda and intensive psychological monitoring and conditioning to try to create a docile population.  In the process the Federation is crumbling under their mismanagement.  It would be to TNG as Blake's 7 is to TOS.

Normally in Hero, Images (light/sound) can't do damage while Mental Illusions (all in the mind, but usually against one target) can.  However, you could write up an "illusionary monster" and then make the spell Summon Illusionary Monster.  You can add Variable Effect to summon other kinds of creatures.

To fill a hex with fire, use a Blast or Killing Attack with Area of Effect and Constant or Continuous and either Uncontrolled (to feed END into it at the start and have it run off of that) or Time Limit (to have it expire on its own).

    Fallacy.
By this logic no one could follow any movies with full armor ( knights, etc), fighter aircraft after WW1 or any drama with a motorcycle helmet.
Not to mention the repeated scifi movies where the characters are where full face helmets.
Starship Troopers power armor is BIG compared to the wearer/pilot.  And based on our history, once in a war they will become adorned with a version of " nose art fairly soon.
A Starship Troopers movie that actually has Starship Troopers is very doable.
