1. Unusual Sense Group Invisibility

   when you choose this are you invisible to ALL unusual senses as the Hero Designer program lends to or do you need to choose invisibilty to Unusual sight, Unusual smell , etc , etc, etc each as a seperate power? i am really confused on this one and have a player trying to do this.

2. AoE TK and Lifting

   Good day, sir! Hope you're doing well. If you have Telekinesis with Area of Effect and you try to lift an object or objects which cover a wide area, would you base the maximum weight you could lift on the Strength of the Telekinesis, or would you add the lifting capacity of TK for each hex that the object covered, like adding the lifting capacity of several characters working together? Would it make a difference if the AE TK was applied to one large solid object, or to a number of objects that were one hex or smaller? What about moving large volumes of "loose" material like water or sand? Thanks for your time.

3. Simple Bestiary questions

   1) What does "Total Disadvantage Points" signify in the Bestiary? Surely a house cat (p. 143) doesn't cost 130 points? The only numbers I can find that add to 130 are the sum of the disadvantages and the powers & skills points (but excluding characteristics). On the other hand, for the Deer/Antelope (p. 151), I can't find anything that adds up to its 120 "Total Disadvantage Points." 2) What is the significance of the "75+" in front of each list of disadvantages? 4. Linked attacks + Str minimum

   My character, a sort of dark paladin, wields a sword: a 2d6 HKA with the OAF limitation and a Str min of 15. I'm looking at enchanting the sword, giving it the power to steal vitae when I attack -- a Linked END Transfer. Can the Str min limitation be applied to the cost of the Transfer when I purchase it? Examples in the book do not take the Str limitation on the linked secondary attack as far as I can tell, but it would seem that without matching Str mins, the two attacks could hypothetically wind up with different OCVs when I swing the sword if I happen to be Str drained. Second/third question: I bought the +1/4 Autofire advantage for the sword to represent the …

5. Steve: MPEW/Phasers and the NND

   I am really fascinated by this bit of reverse engineering and was hoping to get your opinion: Inspired from a discussion regarding Trek Hero conversion of what a phaser translates to in Hero terms.    If a falling desolid character hits the ground do they make a sound.... I mean do they take damage? If not, when do they stop falling? Do they emerge in China?

8. Desolidifcation and senses

   Bonjour, Does a desolid character 'feel' if he has part of his body in solid matter ? Supposing he is not able to perceive his environment ( ie in a darkness field ), how could he know he can resolidify safely ? Thanks

9. Identifying attacker in mental combat

   Bonjour, When attacked by a mental power, according to the rules, the defender is able to identify the source of the attack. Does this mean he knows who is attacking him and where he/she is ? Does this mean he knows the identity of the person ? What does the defender knows if he is not able to perceive the attacker ? Thanks !

10. NND RKA's

    Question,1 If Recoil has teleportation powers and he opens a portal infront of his shotgun that also opens inside an enemies armor"wormhole effect" bypassing armor and hitting the fleashy insides. Is that a good example of a nnd rka. with the nnd stoped but Resistive skin or combat luck. 12. Invisible attacks...

    What are the game effects of someone trying to Block or Missile Deflect an attack that is invisible? Are the penalties the same as attacking an invisible opponent? Also, what are the bonuses gained from using an invisible attack? Merely a Surprise Move bonus, or are the bonuses the same (or similar to) defending against an invisible attacker? Note: this is in context to a visible attacker using an invisible attack. (such as an attack with the Invisible Power Effects advantage)

13. Growth and AoE fists

    Well, this is something Ive always taken for granted, but it just came up in a discussion and after a look in FREd and the the FAQ, it looks like Im all wrong. Ive always thought that once you hit a certain size you logically started affecting hexes as AoEs with your appendages, but apparantly that is not so, in conflict with common sense. Thought Id better check and make sure Im not missing something important... Q: When a character uses growth to become larger or has one of the large size disadvantages, at what point, if any, does that character's hands become so large that when they attack the attack is automatically an AoE? 14. 0 END Continuous Uncontrolled Line Entangle Wall Followup

    Question: Answer: I am the GM. Actually, I didnt mean to imply a "How To"; I am familiar with the FAQ ruling for a Constant Entangle repairing itself, what I am asking is a rules question. If a Continuous Entangle is also Uncontrolled will it repair itself each Segment rather than each Phase as stated in the FAQ for a Continuous Entangle. The followup question is also a rules question.     Q: If you apply 0 END Contin Uncontrolled and AoE: Line to an Entangle, will it constantly roll to restore it's body each Segment, thus making a self-repairing wall? 16. Vehicle Question

    If you buy a 100 -point vehicle (a sportscar) for 20 points, then pay five points for the "x2 Vehicles" could the second vehicle be a 100-point motorcycle? Or does it have to be identical? Thanks, James.

20. Area Effect TK

    If I have Telekenisis and buy area effect raduis on it, when I set the TK up in an area as a grab I can grab every target in the area. But if they break out of the grab and leave that hex, do I get to regrab them each hex? I was looking at it similar to cover fire in the area. If you move into the hex you are hit, and in this case, grabbed.

21. Missile Deflection vs Continuous attacks

    How is this handled? Does the attacker have to make a new attack roll in order to try to hit the Deflector again? Or does the attacker's roll remain in effect, requiring the Missile Deflector to make a new deflection roll each phase? Inquiring minds and all that... Charlie

22. Strange armor question

    Ok maybe I just never thought of it this way, but. It was mentioned that armor by it's nature is invis. So IF this is true would it mean that if you buy armor this isn't just your tough skin you would be entitled to the Visible power limitation? Assuming it's not focused of course

    Hi Steve; quick ? that came up in the HERO DESIGNER Forum ( http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4277 ) Q: Are CSLs bought as Powers considered to be Constant or Instant? REF: Blink Teleport (USDB pg 230) is listed as Constant. Currently, HD does not allow the use of Continuous Charges with CSLs bought as Powers, and does not allow the application of the Continuous Advantage to circumvent this. Dan has indicated that he will unlock the Continuous Advantage for CSLs in the next release, but Im still of the mind that CSLs bought as Powers are already Constant in that they persist in the Segments between a characters Phases. …

24. Regeneration

    Does Regeneration (Healing with the standard advantages/limitations) also heal stun, or is it just body? Also if a character has Regen from death does it take a cycle for the character to resurect (IE The character regens from death 1 body every five minutes, will it take five minutes?)
