Korean war ended in '53, IIRC; if that's not right, it's close. So that's 70 years ago. I don't think the Chinese fielded pre-schoolers; they can't exactly march very well, after all, or carry a full pack and gear. But the point is more that, regardless of background, a mass shooter is rarely that old.
