Growing up in the Sixties, when it came to magical ladies I appreciated Liz Montgomery, but I was team Barbara Eden all the way. Suburban slacks and skirts can't match silk harem pants.

Witches vs Genies eh? we may have found the next 'taste great /less filling' battle!

Out of what? 5? 10? 14?

Out of 10, but IMDB is ah..questionable in a lot of it's ratings, at least for the new stuff.

For the new stuff i most often come listen to you guys here. I don't always agree with folks, but usually it gives me a more accurate feel than IMDB or Rotten Tomatoes

At this point I think it's safe to declare this thread officially obsolete, as it has now become host to three separate conversations, none of which are the actual subject of the thread.

You're surprised?

I'm not sure the subject had enough meat for a sustained discussion anyway.

I never could figure out the rules of Bewitched or I dream of Jennie.  And why did Sam change husbands and no one noticed?

Poor Dick York, he left for medical reasons

from IMDB "During the filming of They Came to Cordura (1959), Dick was seriously injured during a railroad handcar scene. He and Gary Cooper were propelling a handcar down a railroad track with other men when he accidentally lifted the mechanism without his comrades' help and wrenched his back, tearing the muscles along the right side of his back. For him it was the beginning of the end. He grew addicted to painkillers and struggled valiantly another decade before retiring in 1969."

I saw that movie.  It was about an Army Officer who's bravery was question escorting five soldiers nominated for the Medal of Honor in Mexico in 1916.

They should have used the first episode with Dick Sargent, by having it been Aunt Clara having transformed Darren into something, and due to her messed up magic, he didn't come back exactly the same.

They talked about doing that in the Bewitched movie and replacing Will Ferrell half way through with Jim Carrey.
