Cancer
Seriously! If you like a team, The national network announcers will always trash your team (unless you're a fan of New England, Dallas, or one of the NYC teams). Your team will win as long as you don't watch, and as soon as you flip to that channel, Bad Stuff will befall them.

Cancer
We had dinner out this evening with a very long-time family friend of my wife's, so I only saw the last 3-4 minutes of that game. So what do you think of the theory that John Elway is making sure he'll remain the best QB in Broncos history?

And the greed that drives things like swapping cities or at the very least stadiums every decade is all focused at the top. ownership will milk every last cent out of fans, break every last player and when no one is paying they will move on to something else, leaving only the employees to deal with the debris. Anyone who claims they've lost money as a sports owner in the NBA, MLB, or NFL in let's say the last 20 years is selling you a bill of goods. if the worst franchise can now sell for billions...they're not losing money. Pariah
On Sunday Morning, someone running the Donkeys' social media put up a Facebook post saying, "We're 2-0 when holding the opponent to 16 points or less!" Naturally, they went out and lost 15-12 to the Colts. pinecone and Old Man 1
Michael Hopcroft
It took the MNF officials nearly fifteen minutes to resolve a fourth-down attempt at the end of the third quarter. Needless to say the call ended up going against the hapless Miami Dolphins, whose management is deliberately attempting to go 0-16 so they can be in optimum draft position (so they can rebuild young and cheap). MNF is no longer the showcase game it once was, and this (Miami at Pittsburgh) was a pretty bad match-up. Steelers tackle Zach Banner has reported as an eligible receiver at least ten times. He has no targets and apparently is being sent into the game for extra muscle. The thing is there is another team with no wins -- the Bengals -- and the Bengals have played one more game than the Dolphins. They meet on the 22nd of December, and theoretically one of those teams has to win. But with top management in both Cincy and Miami blatantly tanking, it could be an ugly game. The victims are the players who are there now, who want to win but have too few weapons, not to mention the coaches who will become the scapegoats

Pariah
When when the preseason started, the Broncos' top two quarterbacks were Joe Flacco and Drew Lock. Both of them are now on IR. So headed into this week's game against Cleveland, Denver's starting quarterback is Brandon Allen. He is backed up by Brett Rypien, the undrafted rookie from Boise State who was just promoted from the practice squad. Neither of these guys has ever taken a snap in a regular season NFL game. Can the Donkeys lose to Cleveland in consecutive seasons? The magic 8-ball says...Positively! Old Man
Pariah
(Not that it actually matters who the Donkeys' quarterback is. Even Steve Young would get killed behind that offensive line.)
