  1. Re: Pulling Authority & Other Genres I agree with Enforcer Saying "I'm taking over the world because i can run it better then you is a classical evil mastermind schtick." Plus the authority is most definately not what id call "good world leader" material. Midnighter for instance has a habit of killing, maiming, and severely injuring anyone who makes even a passing homophobic comment. That id say is taking things a bit too far.
  2. Re: steampunk internet Hex from Discworld .
  3. Re: Invisibility, No Fringe, Requires Squid hmmmmmm well i dont know about light speed squids but star trek TNG had intersyellar jellyfish.
  4. Re: Japanese Atlantis? well there was an eastern atlantis analogue. It was called Mu i think. It form the basis of at least one anime Raxephon, and is referances in another one Love Hina. I remember reading something else about it but it a few years ago but it wasnt to detailed. The last thing i looked at was a weird hippy crystal psychic new age site about it. You know similar to the "pyramid power" stuff.
  5. Re: Build this: I surf the 'net Computer Usage Professional skill and Social limitation: No life
  6. Re: Alucard vs. Superman or Lobo Most of the Marvel vrs dc fights where lame thats what you get for letting the fans decide who wins. Its always the more popular character. In a fight of Alucard vrs hello kitty im sure hello kitty would win if it was based on fan voting.
  7. Re: new time line were the dead stay dead hmmmmm how about you start from the 1930's and put all characters marvel and dc into chronological order and have them adventure age and die at appropriate temporal order. Say superman came around the late 1930's and was finally killed in the 90's by doomsday, His sone takes over. The original flash died out and was replaces by Barry allen who died and was replaced by wally west and in recently replaced by bart allen. Iron man died in the 90's and was replaced by someone else an illegitamate child also named Tony Stark. The punisher is also still dead but has been replaced by 20 or so differant punishers. Batman retired and Dick grayson took over and he took Jason todd as robin untill he was killed and then he was discovered by tim drake. Theres actually alot you can do with characters DC has emense back story and retconned history that actually covered this kind of thing. Marvel has enough backstory weirdness that you can pull out and do swaps too.
  8. Re: People with Powers well if you think about its if the cosmic/beyonder level characters are 1 in a billion that means there are enough of them to control the eb and flow of the universe. The very patterns of the superhero world and their conflicts would be merely the games of a handful of godlike beings. It would be the stereotypical gods playing games scenario.
  9. Re: Alucard vs. Superman or Lobo Ok i have the answer. Superman flies in at multi supersonic speeds grabs Alucard and throws him so hard that he leaves earth gravity. He freezes into a solid vampscicle in space before his orbit degrades and he burns up while he reentering the atmosphere. If superman really wanted someone to die then it would be a 2 hit fight superman hitting them and them hitting the sun. Batisssssssshhhhhhh
  10. Re: People with Powers Are you sure you want it to be 10% thats like 660 million people across the globe. If 90% of those people are only highly exceptional that you still have 66 million super powered people spread across the globe. Now if 1% of those super powered people, or 0.01% of the world population, is magneto/green lantern/Xaxier level you have 660000 people who are movers and shakers of the paranormal world. If out of those 660000 you have 1% who are Superman/Galactus/Darksied level you'd have 66000 people who can bench press the earth. you can see where this is going lets just say that a person of beyonder level power is a 1 in a billion chance then you would still have 6 people just on the earth who can tailor reality and existance to fit them.
  11. Re: WWYCD: We hope you're feeling better now Brain Eater Lad would jump up and dance a jig while singing a very bad tune about him not being a zombie, not being dead, and not wanting to eat brains. He would then ask when he can get out of the looney bin and get a double whopper. However knowing this is a superhero universe something will happen that will show him that things aren't kosher. When this happens there will be much complaining and gnashing of teeth, between the cussing, screaming, and rude gestures.
  12. Re: I have created a Regulation Act I'm gonna go with Captain America on this one. Should you really be trusting the government with your secret identity, your secrets to your "super powers", and the ability to decide who's a "super villain" today.
  13. Re: WWYCD: Nestleader: The Game I think a subliminal message that just says "Viper is the good guy" would be better. More willing recruits who believe in what your doing.
  14. Re: Highlander theme It was neat in a way, if your familiar with the storyteller system then you'll be able to pick up play pretty quickly since its very similar. Not to insult the creator if he's still around but it wasn't a spectacular game, fairly lackluster, but worth picking up for novelty.
  15. Re: WWYCD: Nestleader: The Game OMG an evil version of The Last Starfighter.
  16. Re: WWYCD: Collected Brain Eater Lad: would wake up and proceed to wonder how some one knocked out a zombie. Next he would survey his situation and the nagging question that is someone figured out how to knock out a dead buy then why bother putting said corpse in a big jar. He would then get over this and proceed to search the room for any possible way to get out. After awhile he would wonder what kind of freak spends their time trying to figure out how to knock out a zombie so they can put them in a jar. Several months would pass and he will have given up on trying to figure out a way to escape, since none of his incredible "zombie" abilities seem to be of any use. Brain eater lad will attempt to use his last remaining ability in order to trick his captor into releasing him, Being an absolute annoying prick.
  17. Re: Highlander theme Highlanders concept is immortals playing king of the hill with swords with the prize being godhood. With queen as the soundtrack. I think thats why Connar Mccloud won he had Queen on his side. In truth there was a game made along the concept of Highlander Legacy: war of the ages. I actually have a copy, i bought rescued from the discount bit, squirreled away somewhere.
  18. Re: Alucard vs. Superman or Lobo Supergirl vs the daughter of Superman and Wonder Woman? Depends if the genetics stacked or diluted.
  19. Re: Post-Apocalyptic Hero -- What Do *You* Want To See? I'm Hoping it will contain information on firearms light setting such as foreign countries. Japan comes to mind along with england and some others. The idea came to mind when i was thinking about Fist of the North Star. I guess that would be superpowered Martial arts Post Apocaclypse.
  20. Re: The Perfect Power Build Cthulhu = +100 pre you don't need any more powers then that for him. People who are hit by the presence attack will fill in the blanks as to why they went into a catatonic stupore. Maybe cthulhu is just a lil squishy ailien with 120 pre.

  23. Re: Need code name for cleaner The Last Weatherman The End Sky Pilot Revolutionary The Symbion Bohemian Mr. Ashbury aka Mr. Haight aka the weird guy The Digger Traveller You could go for an alternative take on the stereotypical hippie. Instead of the peacefull loving hippie why not an old revolutionary who's out of touch with the times. The Last Weatherman:BLAM!!. Agent 1: You killed him. I thought you believed killing is wrong. The Last Weatherman: F*** man, humans can be killed man this F***** isnt human man he's part of the man man. The man cant be F****** killed man. Theyre inhuman F****** being with no F****** attachment to the true spirit of the F****** earth man. They exploit the F****** people man. I mean F****** vietnam war man F****** vietnam war. I didnt F****** kill anyone because he F****** isnt anyone man. Just got rid of a infection F****** causing F****** sickness in the F****** world man. Power to the people, to the revolution, and F*** the F*** thats F****** called the F****** man man. Agent 1: (thinking) Oh god im gonna die, im just gonna die.
  24. Re: WWYD - Marvel's Civil War I thought it was obvious that the pro- reg side would be portrayed as the bad guys of CW. My reasons are based on Marvel Metalogic. 1) Captain America is the moral equivalent of superman in the Marvel universe he represents truth, justice, freedom, and the american way. He has fought Nazi's, terrorists, nihilists, and anarchists. When it comes to making decisions he always makes the choice that best represents and benefits the best interests of the people. Which leads to the final truth of Captain America "if you happen to find yourself on the other side of an argument, or war, than Captain America then your on the wrong side." 2) Notice Nick Fury has gone underground and is helping the anti-reg groups. This is the man who made S.H.I.E.L.D. what it is. He is ducking them and trying to stay off the radar, why? He's done that before and the end result was a internal war with S.H.I.E.LD. and eventual dismantalling of the organization. When Nick Fury has to fight S.H.I.E.L.D. that means that something seriously wrong is going on with American Security. It would be hard for me to choose which side to place a CU character on in the CU universe. I'm not sure that universe has as dynamic of figures as Captain America, Nick Fury, Mr. Fantastic,or Spiderman. These are the figures who would drawn people in. My only hope for the CW is that the real Thor and The Incredible Hulk both come back and analy violate everyone.
  25. Re: Seeimgly Strange Characters to Model Taco Bell Employee: Dispite being well trained and possessing abundant intellegence this indiviual can't seem to get your order right. Something as simple as 3 taco supremes and a burrito supreme suddenly becomes a small nacho, 2 burritos, and a a badly made chalupa.
