  1. It's in the download section. Check under miscellaneous.
  2. It wasn't pulled, it simply didn't get transferred to the new system (though someone has posted it to the download section since then). I suspect the warnings were from arguing with a certain individual after being told the decision was final, not for merely questioning why.
  3. To put it into even more perspective, Stan Lee's Facebook page is going to have a lot more Marvel fanboys than DC ones.
  4. I'm pretty sure every weapon in the book is built with the real weapon limitation at full value and they are primarily meant for heroic level games. And you don't put restrainable on a knife, even at -0. Saying that is pointlessly complicating things.
  5. I'm usually not big on time travel being a huge part of a campaign beyond a single story arch or villain, mostly because I've seen it handled poorly too many times, but that sounds like an awesome campaign Grimble.
  6. You might consider directly asking Surbrook. He is on this sight and you can message him. Whose toes are you worried about?
  7. All of Lucius' posts have a palindromedary tagline. Don't worry, it confused me the first time I saw it too. It's a combination of palindrome and dromedary. Looking at his profile picture should give you a clue.
  8. As opposed to giant spiked lizard's which are so much more "realistic"...
  9. I always thought these would make good flying mounts:
  10. Yes you can. If you go to the Downloads section of the site you will see there is several different character sheets for both 6th and 5th Edition. I'm sure your version will be a welcome addition (and if it's an editable PDF I'll kiss you).
  11. Wishing someone else dead is tasteless and really doesn't belong in a thread memorializing someone.
  12. From CC page 158: That's the exact same level of complexity as Knockback. Or are you referring to the Knockdown rules that only apply if both the optional Hit Location and Impairing/Disabling rules are in play? Because that would be good to know going into the conversation. If that's what you are talking about I find them less complex than the Impairing/Disabling rules themselves. EDIT: Just saw you specified 5E. I'm at work and don't have my 5E books with me (most of my PDFs are 6E), but I don't recall any significant change in Knockdown between editions. If there is, my bad.
  13. I don't know how the knockdown rules can be clunkier than knockback-only does knock down when that is exactly what the knockdown rules are..
  14. I'm relatively new to the system, but I'll give is a shot. First, you don't tally the base cost and then subtract the per rank from flaws. Many Enhanced Traits (including the ones you use) are 2 points per rank. You have two flaws that reduce the cost per rank by one (not subtract one per rank). This doesn't mean that it costs 0 points per rank. If Cost:Rank gets lower than 1 on the cost side, instead of subtracting you add to the Rank side. So your base power is 2:1 with Flaws that reduce the cost per rank by two, which would leave you with 1:2, or one point for each 2 Rank in your Power. So for 2 points you could have up to 4 Rank in Enhanced Traits (Abilities). Your Flat Modifiers are added last (as outlined under Flat-Value Modifiers on the very next page after Fractal Modifiers) and cannot reduce your actual cost below 1 point. So your -3 Flat modifiers drops your final cost from 2 points to the minimum of 1. Keep in mind that your final Fighting and Damage Ranks need to still fit within the Power Level limits you are playing in. Make sense?
  15. What version of M&M are you using? The version I have doesn't have feats. Are you referring to Advantages? EDIT: If you are talking about M&M Advantages, most of them would be built using Powers, possibly as custom Talents with GM permission. Some don't really translate well, like Improved Critical which lets you roll a critical hit on something other than a 20. Unless your Champions campaign is using Critical Hit rules of some sort there isn't really a good corollary to that other than some form of limited extra damage.
  16. Zuko had always drawn on his anger to fuel his fire bending. Once he got over his anger issues he had trouble fire bending and the dragons taught them a more balanced way that wasn't dependent on emotion like passion or anger. None of that changes the fact the fire benders produce their own fire throughout the entire series. Iron even talks about how the energy comes from the sea of chi in your belly when trying to teach him to shoot lightning. The only time fire benders are ever shown to need preexisting fire is in the horrible live action movie. Edit: I'm not trying to be snarky, I'm just seriously confused on how there can be confusion about this.
  17. Have you actually watched the show, because this is blatantly wrong? Every single firebender in the show produces their own fire. There is literally hundreds of examples throughout the series of people fire bending with no fire source. Easy example: Zuko up to his neck in arctic water uses fire bending to melt through the ice. He didn't have a fire source hidden in his clothes under water.
  18. The Avatar cartoon had a lot of strange animal combinations. The Komodo Rhinos that the fire nation rode were sort of rhinoceros/triceratops Giant insects are always an option for desert, which LL already mentioned. You could always go Dune style and have sand worms.
  19. "I suspect that the Fantasy Hero book will be a more complete set of rules and information"Just responding to exactly what you said.
  20. Does the breath weapon I posted look okay?
  21. Fantasy Hero Complete will be much like Champions Complete, the complete game rules plus a section on running the fantasy genre. It is the complete Hero System rules (hence the name) and not a mere introduction to fantasy as Christopher guessed. Fantasy Hero is Hero System's genre book for fantasy, much like Champions is the genre book for superheroes. It does NOT contain the Hero System rules despite what Christopher said. It is all genre information. It covers different types of fantasy (high, low, epic, s&s) has racial templates, career templates, a hugely expanded weapons list, multiple magic systems, and tons more.
  22. I love Adult Wednesday Addams.so glad she is finally doing a second season.
  23. Quick question about the Knowledge Skills. Dragon Lore is 5 points for a roll of 14-, which makes sense as a KS bought for 2 points with +3 to the roll for one point each. But then every other KS is bought as 3 point Skill instead of 2 point skills. Are History, Flora and Fauna, and Boundaries and Scents based on a Characteristic? If they are I assume INT?
  24. I just applied on Hero Central. Still finishing up my character. Unfortunately I don't have access to HD right now do to my computer situation at home (most of my posting is at work) so I'll have to manually enter it when I get a chance (hopefully tomorrow). Does this look okay for his Breath Weapon: Venom Spray: Sight Group Flash 3d6, AoE 1m Accurate (+1/2) (22 AP), Limited Range (20m, -1/4), 8 Charges (-1/2), Doesn't Affect Desolid (-1/4) (cost: 11) Plus: RKA 1d6, AoE 1m Accurate (+1/2) (22 AP), Limited Range (20m, -1/4), 8 Charges (-1/2), Linked (-1/2) (Cost: 10) Total: 44 AP, 21 Real Cost
