Logan D. Hurricanes
That was so bad.
Logan D. Hurricanes
Grats to the Niners! That second half was so dominant I started to feel bad for the Squawks, who led by 1 at the half.
BNakagawa
It was close, until it wasn't. Pariah
Pariah
I'm really impressed with Brock Purdy's poise. He doesn't seem to get rattled. He has a sense of where he is and where the defenders are, and he keeps moving around until something opens up. Not what I would expect from a seventh-round draft pick. unclevlad
Did Urban Meyer suddenly show up on the Jacksonville sideline?

Old Man
Okay I just tuned into this game and it's already absurd. Pick number 4 followed by a freak headshot punt?
unclevlad
Well. I think we have just seen a perfect summation of the 2022 NFL season. I won't say whether that's an insult or a compliment because I'm not sure myself....

unclevlad
Nah. Conceivable. It's, what, the 50th time this year a team's blown a huge lead?
Logan D. Hurricanes
Dear Jags, I'm sorry I doubted. Please forgive me. Starlord
BNakagawa
The third largest comeback in postseason history. Chargers gonna charge.
Pariah
The really amusing thing is that this means the Chargers ended their season with consecutive losses to the Broncos and Jaguars. Logan D. Hurricanes

Wish I coulda caught the end of that game, I had to head out with three minutes left to play. But I had a feeling that ending was coming. Good on the Jags, they earned it. Plus this comeback demostrates a level of mental resilience that will serve them well in the next couple of weeks.
death tribble
From the score, one close game and one thumping. I remember the 49ers under Joe Montana and that it was they could do.
BNakagawa
I mean, the games were kind of mirror images. The Niners were behind by one point at the half, and then scored 25 unanswered points en route to a blowout. In the nightcap, the Chargers jumped out to a 27 - 0 lead before choking in the second half.

slikmar
I felt like the Charger defense changed in 2nd half. in first half, they were playing to cut off the run and short passes, but in the 2nd it felt like they dropped back into the deep shell. Not to mention Bosa losing it the whole game. I also thought this was one of the worst reffed games I have seen. Worse, seemed like missed calls everywhere against one team in first half and then against the other in 2nd.

Old Man
Officiating takes a nosedive every postseason when the refs all switch over to “let them play” mode. It effectively favors the more physical team.
Cancer
It has also been fashionable over the last decade in the NFC West to refer to Seattle as the Cheathawks, and completely disregard the absolute screwjob that happened in Super Bowl XL. unclevlad
I have the feeling that if I had a buck for every swear word or obscenity from the Bills locker room during halftime, that I wouldn't need to win the lottery.
