farik
Alternate Earth Characters #4 Your GM has announced he's going to run an alternate Earth game and he wants you to make a modified version of your character to fit his "Alternate Earth Setting. The GM is being deliberately unclear about whether you'll be playing your alt character or if your regular character will be facing them. So what is different about your character from Furry Earth It's like Earth but it's anthropomorphic(sp?) so what animal does your character look like? Chuckg
Starguard -- good God, she's almost lethally cute in human form. And you want to make her a /furry/? It doesn't matter what you pick, it'll make Disney look like Wildstorm. Mmmm... probably a squirrel. Something with a tail... got to have a tail, it's the best aid for animators to show emotion with, and she's very expressive. Dr. Pain -- grizzly bear! The biggest baddest pro wrestlin' grizzly bear you ever saw, 'cause THAT'S YOUR DOCTOR'S ORDERS! Baron von Darien -- is a vampire. How the hell do you make a furry vampire? farik
Kenneth would most likely look like a big eared comical monkey with glasses that makes his eyes look even bigger. Husky would probably look the same except he'd have a big fluffy tail,
Trebuchet
Zl'f would probably be some kind of squirrel. Cute, agile, small.
Twilight
Twilight tries to act all badass Batman style dark avenger of the night, but beneath the mask he's a sweet tempered cutie who's the crush of many girls in his school. I'm thinking he's a kitten, a bunny, or something equally adorable.
Stormraven
Oh, this is a fun one... Furry Checkmate: Well, not really furry, but he'd be a Serpent or Lizard. He's that cold-blooded, and deliberate. Furry Guardian: A lioness. Furry Control: Interestingly enough, he's less cold-blooded than his father, and would actually be a furry - most probably a fox. BoneDaddy
furry Barabas is a dog. A mutt actually. Not a good looking one, either. furry Marshall Becker is a furry octopus. yich.
McCoy
Cheetah and Snow Leopard, no problem. Dolphin either. Millennium? Good question. As the living embodyment of the Hero With A Thousand Faces, has to be a heroic archtype. Probably a lion. Iron Will, telekinetic quadroplegic. Probably a mollusk of some sort, a snail or a slug. caris
Using the imagery of our world Dr. Patton would have based his choice on a lion. Tiger would also have been a possibility. If anything it is entirely likely that Dr. Patton would have intentionally created Adonis’s shapechanging powers to produce the ultimate leader of a Furry world, someone who could possess the best traits of any of the animal races. Blue
Anthem is likely a white mouse. Uncle Slam is a Fox. A silver fox with a goatee. Audra Blue is a mole. Acutally, she's probably something else but I can't think of what.
farik
And I thought Uncle Slam would be a Bald Eagle
Guest WhammeWhamme
Flippant... what is the most serious agile creature I can think of? Some kind of predatory cat... a jaguar or a leopard perhaps. Wraith... Owl, I guess. A young Owl, and a strong one, but an Owl none-the-less. Chuckg
Re: making the Baron a bat... 1) I didn't think of that. 2) Now that I have been reminded of that, it still doesn't appeal to me. Too damn /ugly/! How do I get in that elegant old-world veneer?
Doug McCrae
Originally posted by Chuckg Baron von Darien -- is a vampire. How the hell do you make a furry vampire? Hermit
Sadly, I am GM about 99% of the time, so I don't have characters in use currently but... http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8986 I have some guesses what the Champions would be like
Brandi
Actually, wolves were more strongly associated with vampires than bats were, at least in older European folklore. Anyway, to take this comic inversion to its logical extreme, Irving would look like this:
Vex
Hmmmm, let's see.... Adrenaline would be a gentle but large bear. Realm would be a Doberman. Hecabus would have to be a Ferret, his original familiar was a ferret and he has a grand scheme about breeding his own race of intelligent ferrets ("Thunder Rats") that are loyal to him and worship him. Fuzzy Gnome
Plasma would be an otter. Ace would be a gorilla. Lin-Si would probably be an anime catgirl. Lucifer would for some reason be a penguin.
Mayday
Mayday would be an otter, a raccoon or a mongoose. Sabre would be a crane. Gangly, leggy and flying. LineDrive would be.... hmm. An otter? I can see him floating around, opened can of beer on his tummy, eyes half closed asleep. ShadowCross would be a pissy looking fluffy black feline. nexus
Predator:Is already a "furry" Nexus:A black panther Tao:A tigeress
Supreme Serpent
Omega: hmm, probably a dog. Would be "Alpha" instead. Cat-man, Frogman: Easy enough. Jack O'Lantern: Jack Rabbit O'Lantern?
Glen Sprigg
Gee, let's see...what would Snowbird be? Comet would probably be an eagle, or maybe a tiger. Shadowhawk would obviously be a hawk, although I like the idea of a fox as well. Archangel? A lion. No question there. Glen
