Hermit
1) "No one could have survived that!" Don't say it, that villain will return with an extra 50 exp to boot. 2) "What could go wrong?" In any situation, this is an invitation for the universe (or the GM who runs it) to show you just how badly things can go. 3) "Thank Goodness, at least (Name of DNPC) is safely away from here." If the DNPC isn't nosing about in the danger zone, it's only because he or she has already been captured, or somehow IS the villain. 4) "There's something familiar about her/him..." Increases the odds that your latest villain is your secret ID's romantic interest. 5) (Said to team mates as you face a new villain)"Leave him to me, I can handle him." You might win, but prepare for the smack down fight of your life. 6) "This strange device seems almost alien in origin, I wonder what it does?" Something unpleasant. Now that you've said that, it will demonstrate. 7) "What do these funny symbols mean?" Mystical variation of the above. 8) "Don't worry, I'll be there." Said in Secret ID, this almost guarentees that you shall be late due to saving the world or something, and end up ticking off a beloved DNPC. 9) "Agent (fill in name) said to leave it all to him..." There is now a 80% chance the government or a corrupt agent there in is about to screw you and your team over. 10) "Who cares what they call us? That's what the Press is for..." Never, EVER, overestimate the good taste of the Media in a comic book universe, particularly when it comes to individual or team names for heroes. It works just good on supervillains as it does innocent bystanders!" (from our campaign with BlueBuddha) "Geez Jake, it's not like we asked you to touch something oogie for us..."
