Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

So what you are saying is you had Bug Boy cruelly force his insect friends to play in toxic filth which certainly led to their painful death...

Dude, not cool...

Well, Bug Boy can't actually force them to do anything, just make suggestions. Besides, we were in a sewer so all I had was roaches, who need little encouragement to play in toxic filth. Given that the average roach spent all its points on Life Support and other defenses Bug Boy is not in the least worried about them and only fearful that his hopes of

GIANT MUTATED INSECT LEGIONS!

will be disappointed.

Nope' date=' they are Obvious Accessible Foci.[/quote']

You forgot the Power that comes with these particular Foci:

HA Xd6 + STR, Trigger (Only When Opponent Eyes Them A Little Too

Intently or Tries To Play "Touchy-Feely")

(I'm not real sure on how much this Power would cost, since I don't have my

FRed handy at the moment.)

Rulewise, I don't think that means quite what you think it means... :D

Granted, they are both blindingly obvious and highly accessable. It's the Foci part that doesn't quite fit (along with her outfit)...

Not necessarily. They are a focus to whomever is ogling and/or fondling. Not her...

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

I would just like to note that the point of this thread is laughs, and I have gotten plenty from the mutant freak watermelons in the front of her suit. Not really appropriate for a Dark Champions-type campaign, but for a campaign that doesn't take itself too seriously, satiric jabs at comic book conventions can be great fun. Besides which if you saw a real woman walking down the street with those proportions (if that were physically possible) you would stare not with lust but with either the pity or the lurid fascination of seeing someone horribly deformed.

And even if input.jack did not necessarily intend for her to be quite so ludicrously endowed, he is a darn sight better at drawing than I am, so I can't criticize (but I will laugh).

A nude model who might make a real life Feline Fury.

After checking her out (in Google, you pervs!), I'd have to say that, no, even the admittedly endowed Jana Defi falls short of input.jack's submitted artwork.

What's that line from "Dirty Pair" that comes to mind? Ah yes... "No way those could stand up in a gravity well." :doi:

Personally, I take a more holistic approach, preferring the whole package as opposed to individual parts.

Wait, what are we talking about now? :doi:

Legs... breasts... chicken I guess. So I figure the next question is... dark meat or white?

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

Ah yes, game quotes. Here, I'll dust off a classic for ya:

In an old SF game, our hero found himself in the landing bay of an enemy ship. He heard the approach of guards and attempted to hide.

The GM said, "There's nowhere to hide. It's a wide open landing bay."

The player said, "I try anyway," rolled his Stealth skill roll and scored a critical success.

With a sigh, the GM acknowledged his attempt.

Oddly, the player started chanting softly, "I'm a tree, I'm a bush, I'm a tree, I'm a bush."

The GM attempted a Notice Skill roll for the guards and, you guessed it, critical failure.

OOC, one of the other players chimed in, "So one guard turns to the other and asks, what's a bush doing in the middle of the landing bay?"

After that, the phrase became the mantra for hiding in all our games. :D

I have a varied diet myself. And I mean varied. But I'm a celibate virgin by choice. Speaking of which...

I can haz moar kwotes plz? KTHXBYE!

What? My own submission did not pass muster? I am offended!

Just for that, I won't tell you the one in our Star Trek game involving the cloaked bear... :doi:

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

From last Sunday's D&D game:

The day after Ryan had Leila's young brother (NPC, forgot his name) in tow when he was hanging out at a bar:

(brother): Sis, I can puke 12 feet!

Leila: RYAN!!!

Ryan: I didn't teach him that. (pause) I can only puke 10 feet.

Yllek is thinking of tracking some orcs into the mountains... alone.

DM: You might get killed.

Yllek: By ORCS?!?!?

DM: You'd never live it down.

- - - - - - - - -

Leila is talking about the off-the-beaten-trail keep we are turning into our own.

Leila: I like my solidarity too.

Il'Marcum: Solidarity?! What are we, Poland?!

- - - - - - - - -

DM: This is magic in its purest form.

Ryan: Keebler elves?

- - - - - - - - -

Devlyn (aiming her crossbow at an orc who insulted her): Then he's really, really dead. Because I'm targeting his crotch.
