My father-in-law told me it was better than his mom's -- and his mom was a terrific cook. ❤️ Bacon, onions & sage, all good. Liver? ‘Ya just shouldn’t eat the organs. Pariah
Yeah, count me out on eating something that the previous owner was using as a filter.
Cancer
I have tried liver. Merely don't like it.
Ternaugh
There was a local diner, where I'd occasionally order the liver and onions, but only if a certain cook was working. That restaurant is now about 10 years gone, and I console myself in the fact that I really shouldn't be eating it anyway. There was a Portuguese restaurant on the other side of town that made a fried chicken liver appetizer that was one of the best I'd tasted. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't survive the shutdown. Tjack
I don’t eat liver, I don’t eat tripe, I don’t eat haggis.....’ya just don’t mess around with the lower tract.
archer
I love beef and chicken liver fried. I like pork liver as braunschweiger or liverwurst, I've not tried it prepared in other ways. Not fond of other organ meats that I've tried (bird gizzard and various heart).

Cygnia
Thing being, with the cost of beef & pork going up, organ meats are relatively cheap in this economy. And some folks don't have the luxury of steak all the time.

Matt the Bruins
I don't anticipate ever being hungry enough to eat chitlins, since I live in the South and know that kudzu is edible. Between that and love of sushi having trained me to eat raw fish, I think I'm good on the food front for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Thanks, especially if there's a zombie apocalypse and I move somewhere that's there's kudzu.
