I felt the same way at first about Sheridan from Babylon 5 being from Scarecrow and Mrs King - glad I got over it though. :)

 

 

Yes, he did prove worth.  

 

Of course, he was "The One".

 

 

I always thought he was The King.  (And no, I'm not talking about Kirby.)

 

I swear, if Gene Roddenberry was supposed to be a closet socialist, then J. Michael Stracyznski has to be a closet monarchist.  Between the last season of Babylon 5 and the Rising Stars comic series, it seemed like he had little--if any--faith in government of the people.  And while that lack of faith may seem justified these days, being ruled by a tyrant, benevolent or otherwise, is hardly an improvement.
