  1. Yes, or Parcel Messenger.(not a delivery driver).
  2. Uber Eats Driver. Perfect for random patrols.
  3. I am proud of my disobedient fellow Citizens, I moved away from los Angeles last year, but before that, I would stand on the roof of my apartment building, with several of my fellow residents, holding a beer, and watching the sky light up in defiance of several bans against fireworks, even before this year. https://disrn.com/news/los-angeles-residents-defy-mayors-fireworks-ban-light-up-sky-on-4th-of-july
  4. Watched "Brand New Animal" on Netflix. It's... Furry. very furry. Interesting fight scenes, if short, tho...
  5. On this date, 49 years ago, Championd! The Super Roleplaying Game debuted at Pacific Origins, in San Mateo, California. https://m.imgur.com/a/0E72NAX
  6. Yes to maps. They would Make a good basis fotTTS maps.
  7. I am terrible with math, plus some math anxiety, so I started with Heromakr.exe on a 3. 5 in. floppy, and these days use Hero Designer.
  8. I have used a corner of the battle mat and a Pente stone as a move able marker. Just list the participants in order of dex. And put their phases after their names. Move the stone from top to bottom. Calling out who moves. You can use a non cubic die, or a different colored stone to indicate a held action, or an abort.
  9. Wow, that's a blast from the past. I remember his art from a lot of old products.
  10. Got them confused. It's Guy Gardiner who's the idiot.
  11. Well, that's up there with "Hold my beer..."
  12. To frame them quickly? I'd think so. it would give you a framework to plug in to HD. It could make your job easier.
  13. That would be Doug Garret's "Super Battlesuit Palomino", I was in it. Let's just say there were a lot of Mecha Fans among the original Heroes. Others, Not so much. Not sure of the dates on those. But yes Battledoids ran into two problems. One was George Lucas. The other The bought designs, for the mecha from the LS Model company, without realizing the designs asctually belonged to Tatsanuko Productions, who were the owners of the Super Dimensional Fortress Macross property. This forced design changes in the units which is why things looked a little "off" after that was resolved.
  14. Any family member works, especially if they are incapable, such as sickness, or a small child. Someone owns a gun store. Someone is a Grocery Store Manager. Someone has the key to the national guard armory Motor Pool. Just think of things that will motivate players as you layer in the chaos.
  15. Now-a-days? yeah, same for anything future tech. maybe add two points for encryption.
  16. Probably a reflection of the times, where Police Scanners were cheap, but Police radios were not.
  17. In most D&D spells you have Concentration, and material components. A lack of either will cause the spell to fail. So in Hero terms, a D&D spell needs Concentration (Ego roll, often) and needs a consumable Focus or charges to represent the material components. Now, Hero being an open system, you can pick and choose what limitation one's own magic system will be. Pile enough limitations on a spell, and you can create hugely powerful effects, for not much cost in terms of "real points". The downside is that anything targeting those limitation, will cause the whole edifice to crumble. The fun things for me, was to build spell systems that reflected the cultures they arose from, this gave magic distinct regional flavor. Don't be too timid, Play around a little and find something you like.
  18. Man, Inhave missed these. Sadly, this is where our group halted it.’s adventures with The Mummy’s Mask, Our conversation with Tef Neju was supremely civilized and pleasant; Compared to bringing down the General’s Pyramid. But Tef Naju wanted us to kill the Roc, which we did, oddly, somewhat reluctantly, but upon completing our bargain, he was a gentleman and told us the information. The trap with the haunts blinded our rogue who scouted ahead, and the poison gas trap was a pain. Layer were all set up to bring down the flying Pyramid, when two key players had to drop out due to life reasons, and that ended the campaign just short of it’s goal, in 2018. So...close... Good ol’ Nazi armored suits, my first attempt at a published Champions Adventure featured those. Never got anywhere with it, but the idea surfaced a few times in campaigns. Interesting soap opera developing within the super team.I would take the Hero Shrew’s position on this, as they were using weapons of war on a civilian population, but I can see the other side of this, especially the PR Guy’s reasoning.
  19. Just don’t buy any new books or new reprint of older materials. In games, I dislike moral ambiguity in my escapism. Orcs aren’t real and I resent the SJW intrusion into geek escapism. I play a fair amount of 5e right now, but I will be more selective from now on.
  20. Hero Designer has no set format for character sheets. You pick a template that you like and HD will put it in. Templates are free and there are a lot of them available on this site. There is even a JSON template that one uses to. Load your characters into the Hero TTS mod.
  21. Why not build it as an entangle Damage Shield bought to a suitable strength?
  22. I think watch was an evolution of “Monitored” from Espionage! It was supposed to represent non hostile organizations that could turn hostile, if the character crossed a line or broke a rule. I will have to check the character binder to seenho nInhandles it with the old, pre-Champions III characters.
  23. Well that’s neasyntomexplain. They took a look at 6th edition. 😁
  24. Thank you for this Maybe some day, rescan the 4e book? Looking forward to this.
