Bluesguy, that's the sort of getting captured scenario I would hate as a player. You all get captured with no chance to escape or do anything about it and then after multiple "adventures" in the prison you don't even get to escape or take down your captors, they just let you go because you proved your entire species is to pathetic to worry about. That sounds awful to me, and I don't mind getting captured in appropriate genres.

You had to make it a single choice pole! I voted 1 but like 3 as well. I would avoid 6 altogether unless the group had experience with those settings and could appreciate the homage.

Than you haven't actually looked. It's everywhere. This is what you get when you Google "female fantasy art" Hopefully you realize the phrase "chain mail bikini" doesn't apply just to armor. The wizard wears floor length robes, unless the wizard is female in which case she wears see through harem pants and a top that shows her midriff (if not more). The female barbarian, if wearing a top at all, has a fur bikini top. Also check out the fairly big list of examples of the Chain Mail Bikini on TV Tropes. If that still doesn't convince you, go to the Artist's Alley at any convention. There absolutely will be more half naked women in the fantasy art, even art where the men are fully dressed.

Look at the dragon's hands. It looks like he's trying to reason with them or barter. The hand placement combined with the facial expression says "come on guys, we can work something out" to me. Also, I second the liking having a fully clothed female on a fantasy cover.

Slightly misleading in that you only quoted half the sentence. He said the suggested default for most is a 1/2 Phase. That's after explicitly stating that it is up to the GM and in the next sentence he mentions a Gm allowing a Sight PER check to take less time.

It's not just poor form, it's straight up not allowed. The only way you can have a Limitation on a Multipower itself is if every single slot has the same Limitation. Obviously you can house-rule whatever you want, but just realize it isn't RAW. You handwave the primary thing that defines the difference between the levels and than say you don't find the higher levels worth the cost. It sounds like you are giving the +3/4 version for +1/4, so of course the +3/4 version wouldn't be "worth it" if you are already getting the benefits from it...

I would consider separating Initiative from Dex, but rolling Dex into OCV/DCV is a horrible idea that takes a huge step backwards. One of the best things about 6E is not having CV tied to Dex, so every ballerina isn't a combat monster and every hand to hand fighter isn't an Olympic gymnast . To tie Dex back into CV puts that link back and defeats a large part of the benefit of getting rid of Figured Characteristics.

Not putting them where exactly? Multiple export formats include martial arts in a maneuver list.

Attaching "Champions" to it would still be problematic. Champions Beyond is set in the Champions Universe but Mystic Champions is a generic fantasy book that has nothing to do with Champions? We're still seeing people confused by Champions/Champions Complete/Champions Universe and whether they need the out of print 2 book "core" rules.

People have complained for years that Dark Champions is a horrible name because it sounds like a genre book for playing Iron Age or "gritty" Batman or Punisher style superheroes when it's actually a genre book for running modern action adventure from spies to military to vigilantes. Now imagine if they named something Mystical Champions. It sounds like a source book for magical superheroes akin to the "Ultimate Mystic". There would be no end to the complaints about how misleading and/or inappropriate the title is.

I did not actually mean to imply that it deserved to be spoilered. But 99% of the time when someone goes "whoops, SPOILERS lol!" after the fact it is a troll who is actually posting spoilers and is the type of troll that wants to point out and emphasize the fact that, yes, they know it was a spoiler and even thought about it before posting. So I tend to have a bit of a knee-jerk reaction to that sort thing, sorry.

I you really consider something to be a spoiler, than put it under a spoiler tag. If that's too difficult for you at least mention it's a spoiler before saying it, not after. If a property is old enough you don't actually consider it a spoiler, than why say it in the first place?

No, but that's not a problem with the system it's a problem with whoever was running the game and allowed it. There was suggest maximum amount of Disadvantages and any more than that were not worth points. If your GM wasn't bright enough to use what was right in the rules and let people just add 50 "Hunteds" (or whatever) to get more points....

Its being "explicitly prohibited" is one of the few things in Hero I will say is straight up stupid. It should be a Stop Sign Power, nothing more. You could use the space wasted to say you can't do it to emphasize why it's a risky ability to allow.
