Lucius
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... more like threw her out onto the street I think that counts. Well, I don’t know about where she comes from, but on earth surely she’ll never starve. So any characters, 1.living in approximately current time, 2.able to provide income information 3. references from previous/current wives, husbands, girl/boyfriends, mistresses etc, as to amount/quality of attention paid to them This is your opportunity to apply to be the companion to a 7ft tall exotically attractive ( Com 30), hard to miss (Pre 30) female humanoid ,trained in singing, dancing, conversation, marital and martial arts. Who will stay young for several more centuries, here's your chance to wind up Vitus. Send your details to Sundog ,along with a description of application, courting technique, persistence. It should be good for a laugh while we attempt to stop the dimension going (Found the spellchecker button, too bad the program isn't downloaded) I’m almost tempted to create a character just to apply with…. Lucius Alexander No doubt an agent of Palindromedary Enterprises (We sell more than just palindromedaries….)

Lucius
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... please do I just looked at her character, and "Vitus' slave" is a 20 pt psych lim. And she's taking manumission "annoyingly well?" Either she has bought/is buying that off, or she already has a scheme to get back in his good graces - or maybe she's converting it into another psych lim? And she's taking manumission "annoyingly well?" Either she has bought/is buying that off, or she already has a scheme to get back in his good graces - or maybe she's converting it into another psych lim? she's already scheming. Telling Vitus that he was a failure as a Master AND Wizard to his face in front of colleagues was certainly a killing insult, but as the players agreed there's only so much neglect a royal Tanashim concubine is going to tolerate, especially when she doesn't have any fellow concubines to 'blend petals' with when Vitus is busy. As my wife (3's player ) said today "3's only got to play with 3 people since she got brought to Earth!" "What about el Leon?" "nooo, that was more work"

Lucius Alexander The palindromedary warns that I am encouraging thread drift The situation has been deteriorating for some time, between Vitus' single-mindedness (not being upon 3) and her being "contaminated" by US/Earth culture. I should have had her buy it down a while ago, but she now has permission to do a full buy off (or an appropriate exchange).
teh bunneh
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Played in a Serenity game at Genghis Con this weekend. The group's former Companion is currently dating the captain, but he's been neglecting her lately. I suggest that she should find a new boyfriend... Companion: I've already got someone in mind... Me: I'll be in my bunk. Companion: No! That's not who I meant! Me: I guess I've just bought my one-way ticket to That Special Hell. Companion: Thanks so much for dragging the rest of us along with you!
EvilEmpryss
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... During a particularly exciting game when I scored a solid hit on a bad guy, I yelled out: "That's what you get for sucking off your teammates!" This isn't as bad as it sounds, though... really! My character had just witnessed the villainess trying to recover from a previous hit by draining stun from one of the other villains (thereby knocking the other villain out). Guest steamteck
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... One of my players was playing a knight, Sir helior, wielding a two handed sword. A demon hits him hard and knocks him down. On his phase he stands up and pantomimes holding the two handed sword in front of him low and straight out with both hands wrapped tightly around the imaginary hilt just below his waistline and says "I come erect" There was dead silence and he turned really red and said " Uh, I stand up?" Kirby
Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... Seven DEMON agents (4E) just shot grenades (7d6, explosive) at the PCs; everyone is pretty much in a small 4 hex diameter room. EVERYONE gets hit from all the grenades, but damage was so horrid that no one gets the full KO (not even the DEMON agents). Field Test: All right, *now* you're just pissing us off.
