David Prowse' date=' who helped bulk up Chris Reeve for [i']Superman[/i], was inside the suit.

 

And not until Return of the Jedi did James Earl Jones get any screen credit at all for his part in bringing Vader to vivid life. I still for the life of me can't understand why.

Alec Guinness probably wished he could have been so lucky (he hated doing Star Wars and really hated being recognized for it on the streets)....

That kid looks more like a Skywalker than Jake Lloyd. Too bad he wasn't around for the first prequel. Seems to have more personality.

 

EDIT: And just after I post, I learn the kid has a congenital heart defect that requires a pace maker. He's halfway to Darth Vader already.

From what I've heard, he didn't mind Star Wars, but it was just a lark (and, yes, a paycheck). What he hated was how it eclipsed all the serious stuff he really poured his heart and soul into.
