Some of us are still paying off the car repair bills from the last time you got us in a collision. Oh and while you're at it, hang up the cell phones while you're driving. St Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland, long established as a metaphor for bringing Christianity to the pagan savages. the pagan Irish had one of the most complicated yet functional and just social and legal systems ever developed by a civilization on this rock we live on. Christianity has led the Irish to the only conflict that rivals the English occupation of Ireland in terms of the amount of grief and bloodshed it has created. Especially a holiday that is on a Friday. Bad traffic, stupid tourists, and drunk guys who think its ok to yell at the top of there lungs as they walk threw. After the drought we have been having that is welcome news. I normally don't venture out in this sort of weather but today I had a couple of errands that simply had to be run. Why is it that everytime it rains huge amounts of people suddenly take to the road? Most of the places I went would normally be deserted this time of the day on Saturday, but not today. Normally traffic would be pretty light this time of the day on Saturday, but not this time. Everyone who is mobile seems to go everywhere when it rains.
