Cancer
Which is as it must be, when right and wrong are not the proper basis set for the quantum-mechanical representation of the situation; you get oscillation between the two states continuously. death tribble
Bit of an odd day. Went to the funeral of my godfather's brother. Said godfather passed away in 2004. The service was simple and over in 30 minutes. Went shopping with mother and her friend. Said friend was on telephone to her other half (they are not married) and it was uncomfortable listening to the 30 year plus relationship implode. Cancer
I haven't had to do that, but I think my only adventures with farm equipment are limited to about three weeks in June 1974, in central California. Oh, I had one of my rear (drive) wheels freeze up after a snowstorm in Illinois once, but a bit of work managed to break that ice without having to jack up the car, and and I got home fine. My best snowstorm story has very little to do with the snow and cold itself; it was part of triple curse that kept me in my astronomer role from seeing the only naked-eye supernova in over 500 years. Oh well.
L. Marcus
There's apparently a rumor circulating that Mike Surbrook has died. Mike Surbrook seems to find this amusing. I'm just speculating about where he hid his phylactery.

Cancer
I find myself wondering ... In the city of Berlin, capital of Germany ... which is the greater difference? 1902 versus 1962, or 1962 versus 2022?

death tribble
Youtube algorithm threw up Go Your Own Way by Fleetwood Mac and I thought, 'Where does Mick Fleetwood land on list of best drummers ?' I looked up the list and he was number 60. John Bonham and Keith Moon are the top two. Neil Peart was Number3 which should please a certain poster

L. Marcus
I had a thought the other day: Does anyone know if Nick Fury was based on Odin, as in the original Norse deity? I mean, one eye, a leader associated with wars and conflicts, clever and deceitful ... and the name; Odin originally meant "The furious one". tkdguy
