    An addendum to dsatow's question (which may be covered in that answer). Assume a character who is a little less on the nose. Blasty Ben has a 15 DEX. However, he also has +8 DEX, only if his action includes an attack with his Blasts Multipower (Ben can get +2 to DEX-based rolls, act sooner, etc., as long as he also blasts something on the same phase), and +7 Lightning Reflexes for his QuickBlast. Blasty Ben wants to take a recovery this phase. Does it start: (a) At DEX 30, since he had to decide to Delay and not use his QuickBlast (i.e. based on the earliest time in the phase that he could take any possible action); …

    An interesting point was made in the forums, can lightning reflexes be used for everything but recoveries in the following example? A character has a Dex 1 but has bought +19 Lightning Reflexes for all actions except for recoveries. His phase comes up at the effective Dex of 20 but he wants to take a recovery at Dex 1. Is he considered to be holding his action until Dex 1 or is he doing nothing till Dex 1 or is he taking a recovery at dex 20? If a villain attacks him before Dex 1, is his recovery spoiled or is it unaffected?

    Can you use reflection on stretching? The reason I ask is because I just watched Incredibles 2 and saw Voyd do the classic bit of redirecting a stretched punch.

    So, if I wanted to make an area of effect that penetrated through walls, how would I do this? Is indirect correct? Or is AVAD? Dr. Weird Destiny casts a temporary curse on Morbid, the sorcerer. The curse makes anyone near Morbid fall asleep. AoE damage attacks are normally blocked by walls, so someone on the other side of a wall from Morbid stay awake but that's not what is wanted.

    Is being at 1/2 DCV ever a modifier? I ask this because there are questions if PSLs (Penalty Skill Levels) can be used to counter the 1/2 DCV penalty.

    I know that there is Stretching/Teleport Martial arts combo, but is there any reason that you couldn't combine Passing Martial Arts and Teleport. Basically A teleporter can teleport say 20 Inches. He teleports, materializes next to someone hits them and moves on much like a speedster. Can this work?

In 6E1:370, you state: There has been some disagreement about whether, as soon as a UBO power with Continuing Charge is activated, those points are now freed to be re-used in the VPP, or if those points are unavailable to the VPP owner until either the duration expires or the next day.     If the source of the danger is in a darkness field to danger sense but the person with danger sense is not, the danger sense trigger to the source of the danger?

    Slightly confused by how to cost these. It seems simple enough but the Vehicle table has Starting Values, in the same way that characters do. Do I pay for these starting values or not? The implication is that I don't. But that also means that if I created a vehicle that only had these values, it would be 0CP. Well, 1CP since there's a rule that's the minimum something can cost. But you see my point. So if I create a vehicle with 12 Body, does that cost 2CP because it's 10+(2*1CP)? Or does it cost 12CP because it's 12*1CP?

  13. Per 6e2 pg 145 "The Effects Of Temperature" (and elsewhere in CC/FHC), a character "loses" REC and END every 20 Minutes they are exposed to a +1 or -1 Temperature Level. The relevent section defines the END loss as being LTE. However the REC Loss isn't defined beyond its short-term effects on your ability to Recover END. What is lost REC, and how do I recover it? For example: I'm playing an Average Person (with 15 END and 4 REC) who was exposed to +1 Temperature Level for 2 Hours, but is no longer being exposed to it. Maybe I was sitting on guard duty for a few hours on a balmy 89° evening, unable to avoid the heat until my replacement arrived. …

    Here's a question that's mostly theoretical: If I have a character with a 4 CON and he's aided 10 STUN, on post 12, he loses 5 points of the aided STUN. Is he stunned? If I have a character with a 10 CON and he's been aided by 3 different people for 30 STUN, on post 12, he loses 15 points of the aided stun. Is he stunned?

    Okay, I'm willing to admit I probably missed something basic her, but I'm asking anyway. What is the game effect of missing sleep? As in, if I created an attack that simulated the target not sleeping for a week (or whatever), what would that effect be? TIA

    Haven't been able to find an answer, sorry if its been asked. If a mage casts a spell that causes one level of growth on a person or creature, would they become double human size or double their size. Is the growth based on the normal size of the creature it is cast on. So would say a Dwarf become human size or a double human size dwarf? Would a rat become dog size or double human size and so on.

    I've think you've answered this, but I can't seem to search and find it. I apologize if its a repeat. HRRH says you can transmit what you see and hear. It notes that you can transmit what you see and hear, but how far does that go? What I mean is, can you use the power to send false signals or misleading images or do you need a second power to fake the images over radio? Example, making it sound as if a reported is saying something when they are actually saying something else. What about memories? Can you have seen or heard something and send that via radio? If you can send non-live images and sound, can someone with…

  18. Regeneration with the Resurrection adder continues to work after a character dies, so I'm wondering if there are ways to have other abilities that continue to work after a character dies. Would abilities that are built with the Inherent Advantage also keep working after death? Would abilities that are built with both 0 END Cost and Persistent keep working after death?

    Player 1: 18 DEX Speed 4. Phases 3,6,9,12. Player 2: 15 DEX Speed 3, Phases 4, 8, 12 On Phase 3, Player 1 attempts to hit Player 2. Player 2 Aborts his phase 4 to a Dodge. On Phase 6, Player 1 declares “Hold my Action until Player 2 stops Dodging” At 15 DEX, phase 8, Player 2 stops Dodging.   20. If a character has multiple instances of a power going, and a foe hits that character with a Dispel vs. that power, does it only affect one of those powers at a time, or all of them at once? And if all at once, does it work vs. each individual power's Active Points, or against the sum of their Active Points?     If a character is struck and the hit location is rolled for, what happens if the rolled hit location is missing or desolid? Does the attack miss completely, the GM changes the location or is the location re-rolled? Example: Character A is in a fight but their left arm is desolid or missing. The left hand is what comes up after rolling for location. Does the attack miss completely, is it shifted to the right hand instead, or is the side not even rolled for and a hand location automatically becomes the right hand?

    Quickish questions! Looking through what I've managed, I've yet to be able to answer these or find answers. First off, can Gestures only be done with the hands? RAW I can't find indication of otherwise. Was thinking something such as a sumo's hold and long stomp to activate something might be neat, but that would be bound to the legs, rather than hands. Or a Headbanger prepping for a Sonic blast of sorts. So, are Gestures "slotted" exclusively for the hands, or more open? Or as many things, ask the GM. On that point, Gestures states that if a character is Grabbed or restrained, they are unable to use a power with Gestures. Grabbing someone however …

  25. I know that Blocking, Deflecting or Reflecting Area of Effect Attacks doesn’t work, but does that also apply to explosions? How do you defeat a villain that has abusive Blocking, Deflecting or Reflecting abilities? ?
