Sucker Attacks and Teleportation UAA
Player wants to use Teleportation UAA to execute a Sucker Attack (6E2 128). General idea: Hold action, wait for the opponent to announce an attack, and Teleport one of the opponent's teammates in front of it. Legitimate?

Held Actions and "Who Goes First?"
If you dispense with the DEX roll at simultaneous DEX’s and institute some other priority system, e.g., Held Actions, does this also negate the ability to Abort that accompanies the usual simultaneous DEX roll rule? E.g. Two characters, Player 1 is Speed 4, Dex 15. Player 2 is Speed 3 Dex 14 On phase 3, Player 1 attempts to hit player 2, who announces an Abort to a Dodge. On phase 6, Player 1 Holds his action; “I wait until he stops dodging” On Phase 8, at Dex 14, when player 2 would act (and therefore stop Dodging) , Player 1 decides to strike again. Rather than commit to Dex rolls, the GM rules that the He…

Delayed USe (Where was it?)
Hi Steve I asked a question earlier about a limitation where you can use a power but it does not recharge for set period of time for the same person/area etc. if you remember. Your response below was: There is a Limitation for doing this. It's called Delayed Use, and you can find the rules for it on page 162 of Fantasy Hero. I bought the Fantasy Hero Complete and I like it so I did not buy it just for this but I don't see Delayed Use on page 162 or anywhere else in the book. Can you help me out please?'

Reloaded Shell Casings
If a character reloads their own brass, is there a misfire chance that can occur after they reload them more than once or twice? I searched through Dark Champions but did not see anything on this.

Teleportation UAA
Couple of questions about using Teleportation as an attack. 1) Player wants to have Teleportation UAA as an Area of Effect, Selective. Can he specify different destination hexes for each target? 2) It’s not possible to Spread a Teleportation to get a better chance to hit? Or spread to 1 m radius?

Multiple Attack with non-attack powers
There are some powers that are not Attack Powers, but whose use requires an Attack Action (e.g., Aid). Is it legal for a character to execute a Multiple Attack that includes one of these powers?

Change Environment & Strength Rolls
When using a Change Environment power that forces a Strength Roll, do the players targetted by that CE need to expend END for the Strength used in making that roll?

Unified Power
OK, I have a variety of abilities linked by unified power all related to the super strength I have (i.e. all the old figured stats related to strength: pd, rec, stun, leaping ). STR +50 Unified PD +10 Unified REC +10 Unified STUN +25 Unified Leaping +20m Unified Question 1: Someone drains my Str which in turn drains all my figured stats by 20 pts. This means the following right? STR +30 PD +0 REC +0 STUN +5 Leaping +0 Question 2: On post 12, I get back 5 points of return rate. Do all stats return 5 active points? Question 3: If all stats get back 5 points, do I get back +5 PD or 2.5 PD…

Limiting reuse of a power to a set recharge time
Ok so essentially I have a power with a time limit that is set for up to five minutes let's say and has an RSR that is one minute plus one minute per extra point 5 minute max which is whatever the book says it is not important for the discussion. I want to limit the number of uses based on time so you can use whenever you want in an area or on a person but can't reuse it for let's say one hour. The only way I can thing of this is buy Damage over Time at +1A then don't buy any extra uses (so only one use) and then buy it with a -2 to the calculation every hour. This is a -1L which the rules might require I make it a +1/4A minimum (can't remembe…

Can a Naked Advantage be the elimination of a limitation
Ok so earlier I asked a question about a character with an astral body bought as invisible always on for a 0 level limitation because it is linked to the projection (desolidification) i.e. the astral body is always invisible. I wanted the ability of the spirit to manifest or become visible so I have to buy a images with set effect to appear as the character's body -1L and obvious -1/4L image appears ghostly so obviously desolid not real etc. I bought this with an RSR and 2x end to make it expensive for the character to use to simulate the stress of maintaining visibility. So what if I want the character to have a magic spell for instance that allows him…

Grabs vs objects and Grabs vs characters
Hi Steve, 6e2 p26 states that a character would not normally be able to stop a flying object using a Grab without also having flight. Does this rule also apply to stopping a flying character with a grab since characters are also objects? This assumes that the flyer has the STR to carry the mass of the grabber but not necessarily enough to break the grab. Thanks.

Images while Desolid
OK So using the Projection rules for an Astral Body I have a desolid bought as projection leaving a physical body behind. I have also bought invisibility to sight and hearing group bought as linked to the projected form (it only works while desolid) and with the always on limitation reduced to 0 as iy is not a great hindrance to simulate a astral body that cannot be seen. I want the character to be able to manifest as a ghostly form where his spirit currently is. To do this I am buying images sight and sound 15 points with a +1/4A area affect radius 2m and the limitation No Range -1/2L and set effect form of characters physical body as ghostly…

CV Penalties in Aborting to Block Following Multiple Attacks
Would the OCV penalties for a multiple attack continue to be imposed on a block maneuver in the following phase, assuming the character in question aborted to block? Or should this be an instance where a character is not allowed to abort as it could be seen as 'resetting' the CV?

Stun loss
Sorry another esoteric question from page 6e2p104: If I give someone the characteristic Stun with usable by another, (say +30 Stun Usable by another to a character with 18 CON and -20 Stun) Do I get Stunned if I we both can't use the Stun together? Does the target get Stunned when the +30 Stun is lost?

Stopping healing
An esoteric question unlikely to come up but still: If a target refuses healing for whatever reason (suicidal, religious, mind control, etc.) can they use power defense against the healing?

Area effect selective
If you have strength (or TK) area of effect selective, can the targeted items be doing separate things or do they all have to be doing the same thing (all targets grabbed, all targets punched, etc)? (i.e. Can one selected target be grabbed while another target be tickled while yet another target be pat on the back?)

Telescopic
Okay, so...I'm trying to build a PC with telescopic senses. Literal eyes with zoom. I'm having trouble deciphering the "telescopic" sense modifier though. Does it, or does it not make it easier to perceive someone/something at range? The power write-up states that Telescopic doesn't help the character perceive a thing, it just makes it easier to perceive a thing. Please help me understand. Thanks! :-) "For every 3 Character Points spent, a character receives +2 to PER Rolls with a single Sense Group — but the bonus only applies to offset the Range Modifier as it affects PER Rolls with that Sense Group. Telescopic doesn’t help the character perceive…

Multiple Bases
I apologize now if this is in a book or previous question but I couldn't find it. I have a character that has multiple bases or at least has a base for a planned purpose, use it then abandons it to not allow herself to be caught. Then when need a new base is created used, dropped and so on.. How do I represent this in the game? Is it necessary to pay for a base as it is derived and used? Can the points spent by the character be for A base, even if it is rebuild elsewhere?

Duplicating others
In reading the entry on Duplication in 6E1, it is mentioned on page 204 that it is possible to build Duplication powers with the Usable By Others and Usable As Attack advantages. In the case of such powers, if the advantage Altered Duplicate is also used, what advantage level is required if you are only changing the duplicate’s Complications, such as their Psychological Complications? I’m thinking in terms of a Duplication ability that only makes evil duplicates (through appropriate changes to the original’s Psychological Complications), or maybe one where duplicates have “Loyalty to (the character with the Duplication power)” and that’s the only c…

Always On, or just always on?
OK, I am pretty sure I am right, but the recent Inherent discussions seem like they may confuse someone (or like I was already confused). As I read Inherent powers, they must be abilities the character cannot shut off (or, at GM's option, can only shut off with extreme strain, the example being enough END cost that shutting it off for more than a turn or so is not possible). So, while I would question whether a character could take a -1/2 limitation on, say, Regeneration, or Spatial Awareness (Passive Sonar), for being Always On, on the basis it is not limiting for the power to be on at all times, he could certainly make the power "always on -0" a…

Darkness Centered on Self
This is probably a dumb question, but if you want to create a (for example) Darkness field that is centered on the character, and moves with him, is that the same as the Mobile Advantage? The character can't target at range, and the field only moves when the character moves, so that seems not to be a good fit. Thanks!

One More Question on Inherent
Hi Steve, Is it (generally) allowable to apply Inherent (and thus Always On) to powers like Regeneration? I can't see Always On being allowable, which would seem to prevent having it be Inherent...

One last question on absorption
Sorry, last question really ... If the attack stunned him and knocked him out and the absorption wakes him up all in the same segment, I assume per 6e2p106 that he's no longer stunned. Is this correct?

Does spatial awareness work at range?
Does spatial awareness have range built in? The rules do not list it as being built in, nor does Hero Designer. It does list fully penetrating and targeting, but not range. I am trying to figure out how you can have a sense that works through walls, but is not at range.

Follow-up to your response in Linked/Inherent questions
Mr. Long, I was confused by your response to a pair of Linked/Inherent questions in the following thread: http://www.herogames.com/forums/topic/96761-linked-and-inherent-questions/?tab=comments#comment-2643813 Specifically, you indicated "By definition an Inherent Power has to be Always On" ... and you also stated, "a character may Link a power to an Inherent Power, but if he does so the Inherent Power becomes the same type of power (Persistent, Constant, or Instant) as the power it’s Linked to." Perhaps I am mistaken, but these two statements would seem to conflict with one another -- specifically because: An Inherent Power (by definiti…
