ghost-angel
Re: Fantasy Art Thread This is the fantasy art thread, and the site shows fantasy art. There are tons of sites that have screenshots. So why not? You could likely put "screen shots" under fair use. You're taking Copyright Artwork, displaying it without permission, and implicitly encouraging people to download that art for their own use. That's illegal. Grail Quest
"Silk Road" portraits from Tradewinds: Caravans Hi Everyone! Since the last time I posted about Fantasy Art and Portraits, a section on Tradewinds: Caravans has been added! Culturally, the art spans China to the Middle East, with the occasional portrait decidedly Caucasian, probably as a nod to European traders who had penetrated the region during the time period encompassed by the game. There is also a "romanticized" lens applied: Even supposed bums will be in clean, colourful clothes. As a reminder: All images are copyrighted by their respective owners (DUH!). This screenshot is for private non-commercial use only (like, don't use it as the book cover of your magnum opus). They are screenshots from a game taken to introduce you to their art. Enjoy! Manic Typist
Re: Fantasy Art Thread Hehe. Would you mind perhaps holding off from telling us about EVERY new update? More like a...once a week list? At least, if it's going to continue to be so prolifically added to.

Storn
Re: Fantasy Art Thread It has been awhile since I've posted anything. I've been busy with a couple of covers, a couple of interior assignments and had to put down private commissions for a bit. One cover should be forthcoming, as the publisher is going to allow me to post it. But I'm waiting for a "cover blurb", something to give y'all an indication of what it is all about. Meanwhile, I have managed to get a few commissions done, a couple for 7th Sea, a couple of fantasy, most likely 4th ed d20 d&d. Enjoy! Grail Quest
The Fantasy Art of SpellForce Hi Everyone! Since the last time I posted about Fantasy Art and Portraits, a section on SpellForce has been added! SpellForce has an intriguing look that taps into fantasy stereotypes, yet has novel elements sprinkled throughout, like the use of masks, and interesting support units such as the orc drummer. The galleries have quite a few pictures, but are still essentially under construction, and more pictures will be added now and again. As a reminder: All images are copyrighted by their respective owners (DUH!). This screenshot is for private non-commercial use only (like, don't use it as the book cover of your magnum opus). They are screenshots from a game taken to introduce you to their art. Enjoy!
Grail Quest
On ENWorld - "Images for Use as Tokens" There's an interesting thread on ENWorld: Images for use as Tokens I'm planning to put together a bunch of tokens for tracking combat in D&D rather than investing the time and money involved in painting up lots of miniatures. Does anyone know a good source of graphics that can represent various D&D monsters and which are distinguishable at 22mm square?
