Old Man
Now there is Ebola in Dallas. Not that I needed another reason to avoid the place, but you know.
Cancer
Just noticed something, so a question: Is it a conflict of interest, and for whom, when I find my doctor's daughter is enrolled in my class this term?

Cancer
The spellchecker-can't-save-you typo of "pants" for "plants" in an essay about the possibility of life on planets other than Earth can give an instructor concentration-breaking giggle fits for much of an evening, if the error appears in a particularly inopportune place. Logan D. Hurricanes
I know I've been a little edgy all week for personal reasons. This morning was the last straw as I was listening to the radio on the way to work. Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar on Me" was playing, and as it ended the DJ said "That was Def Leppard with the title cut to the album, 1988..." and I went nuts. "That was not the title track! It was on fXXking HYSTERIA, dammit!!" Then I finally laughed as I realized how absolutely stupid it was to yell at a DJ over a dumb thing like that. I need a break. But seriously, the title cut? Come on!

Cancer
There is a site, vecna.com. Glance at it, then consider what that name means in gaming .... I cannot be convinced that it is coincidental. Lucius and BlueCloud2k2
death tribble
I have a theory that the most powerful Wrestler ever was 'Macho Man' Randy Savage. The reason is simple. He was Sauron. From Lord of the Rings. Don't believe me ? Check out all the old videoes, does he not proclaim that he is 'the Lord and Master of the Ring ?' Cancer
I had forgotten how far one can get in a general introductory class merely with lexical analysis. The proof comes when I ask what the word "differentiation" means in terms of planetary formation, evolution, and interior structure. That word is used in so many contexts with different meanings in each that it renders helpless the people with good language skills that didn't pay attention in class and didn't do the reading. Just an amazing number of complete whiffs on that question. I will have to use it more often in the future.
death tribble
I got through three cartons of orange juice in a week. Usually it takes me a couple of weeks to get through one. But the skin condition and abstaining from alcohol has taken a toll.
death tribble
If there is another piece of music that with the proper visuals can make you upset than I know of no finer example than Samuel Barber's Adagio for Strings Op 11. I remember seeing visuals of World War 1 graves and the music plays over it. Best version I have found is of the Last Night of the Proms September 15th 2001 when they played it in memorium of those killed four days earlier. Youtube is wonderful some times like that. BlueCloud2k2
If real people dream of dreams, do dream people realize reality? What if the real-world is the realization of the dream world that we the real dream of in the first place? If reality is the realization of dreams, then which came first? The dream, or the reality? Cancer
Starting next spring, the MCAT (medical school application standardized exam) will consist of four sections of equal weight. The possible range of scores from each section is 118 to 132, so overall scores will range from 472 to 528. W. T. F. ???!?!???
