  1. If only because it would be nearly impossible to justify having such an abusive set of powers in any universe.
  2. You are the Fifth Doctor: Your youthful exterior belies your centuries of experience, and even you have a bit of difficulty rectifying these two aspects of your personality. You are compassionate, introspective, and deeply troubled by injustice. If you occasionally seem to display more vulnerability than your predecessors, it's probably because you're more openly human than they were. Are your companions finally rubbing off on you? Which Incarnation of the Doctor Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
  3. I wouldn't allow this. For one thing, the hero's Primary and Figured Characteristics (excepting INT,PRE & COM) are all built Usable By Others, and are assumed to be additive,so that in conjunction with the character's BILLIONS of duplicartes, the hero's Primary and Figured Characteristics reach literally astronomic levels (As does the character's Damage Resistance).
  4. So that's why the other supermen were much younger than Khan.Obviously The Nitpicker's Guide To Star Trek needs an update!
  5. Not quite-in the Ultimate Supermage, the Death Dragon was just a powerful avatar of the true Dragon.Sure it was unbelievably dangerous, especially to a group of opponents, but it was a mere shadow of the very source of conscious evil on Earth.
  6. In the recent JLA/Avenger miniseries, she definitely gave the Avengers an edge, especially as she was shown to be more powerful in the DC Universe than in the Marvel Universe (In Hero system terms she at least partly bought off the "Only Chaos magic" Limitation on her VPP's control cost and replaced it with A Side Effect:"Chaos magic Corrupts User".
  7. Agreed.Of course, she might want to play herself...
  8. First off,Wanda's codename is "Scarlet Witch". As for her powers, the Scarlet Witch's powers received a MAJOR upgrade while Kurt Busiek was writing her.Kurt redefined her powers as being a form of "Chaos Magic".Her "hex spheres" have been redefined as being "chaos grenades".I reccomend you get the Kurt Busiek issues of Avengers,as he gave a more detailed explanation of Wanda's powers.
  9. True enough.Here's my take on this: Ch'I Augmented Escriama Sticks: 3d6 NND(1) (+1),Does BODY (+1),OAF(Escrima Sticks) (-1),No Range (-1/2) (45 Active,18 Real).
  10. I don't have your experience with 3rd Edition psionics, but from what i've seen,I think you're correct.I've also read in Dragon Magazine that WOTC is putting out an updated version of the Psionics Handbook that's supposed to make Psionics more viable.
  11. Looks great,Killer Shrike.One question-are these psionic powers based on the ones in AD & D,Second Edition,or D & D 3E?
  12. My origin for my namesake character involves an alien mad scientist kidnapping a New Zealander and using the poor sod in part of a mad plot to develop a Superman clone using nanotechnology.Of course he escapes and decides to become a superhero. (After all,he's got superpowers).
  13. Uh,everybody realises that the initial poster stole those ideas from GURPS ,right? And i'd say that Voice would be a 3 point Talent in Hero.I'd build it as +5PRE,Incantations(-1/4),Does not defend against PRE Attacks (-1/2) (5 Active,3 Real).
  14. True enough. It's a pity they haven't updated their customer of the month since last year, though.
  15. Even if Rogue is back up to full power (after Claremont's treatment of her in Extreme X-Men) would she be able to absorb a Kryptonian's power. She's never been able to absorb all of Juggernaut's power,so I don't think she would be able to fully drain Superman.
  16. Yes it was.And I think that Lazy Dragon is a villain.Just reread his comments on destroying the machine. He reminded me of Magneto. And how hard can it be to set up a time bomb? Guess I'd better buy Demolitions for my namesake character.
  17. I've never seen Strike Force. If I had a list of classic sourcebooks that should be updated to 5th Edition it would be in my top five along with To Serve And Protect,The V.O.I.C.E of Doom,Kazei Five and Wrath Of The Seven Horsemen.
  18. Good question. My namesake character is an idealized version of myself,so ithe actor would have to be black-haired,very broad & muscular, with a deep voice. Oh,a New Zealand accent is required.
  19. true enough.Just ask Spider-Man about the perils of having a major publisher starting a feud against you.
  20. True enough. If the version shown in those old Champions comics was correct,Icestar was a real jerk.(Of course, many of those characters were real basket cases ESPECIALLY FLARE).
  21. Actually an average Joe (with a 2 SPD) can act twice in a Turn,or once every 6 seconds.
  22. At least someone else realises it.How many Dark Champions players realise that the Harbinger of Justice is a Spider ripoff?
  23. Does nobody but me remember The Tomorrow People?
  24. It's Teal 'C. And,no he wasn't in the original Stargate movie, just the TV series.
