July 1, 20223 yr comment_2881695 Grant has done well in the role, but casting him in the films as well as doing the tv show would confuse too many people. They will think that the tv character is in the films, rather than the actor is doing the same character in a different role, or in a different production (cf theatre vs tv/film). When Evan Peter's appeared on WandaVision, too many people assumed wrongly, that Evan's was reviving his X-Man series character, so therefore it mean the X-Men series are part of the MCU. When the TV series finishes, maybe then Grant could continue the character in the DC films. Or play a different speedster in the films, like Wally. He may also not want to be typecast. He may also want to play a different DC character, or switch to Marvel (fan-cast him as Whizzer in the Squadrom Supreme; and other DC actors as well).
