  1. The CU has the All-American as a patriot hero. The Golden Avenger is usually portrayed as an antagonist(if not outright villain) but he also fills the Cap role. Most Silver Avengers are used more heroically though.
  2. That's the damage for one moving tank ramming a stationary one. Add another 12d6 for a head-on collision at full speed.
  3. There are random power generators in the Champions book Pennies into silver sure, steel to lead will depend on the amount/time available and may require a major Transform. Work with your GM here. You can't change yourself (beyond a change of clothes, makeover or tan) with transform. Use Shapeshift to change features.
  4. In the early issues he needed the cape to fly. If they keep that as part of canon then the cape is necessary. Besides that it looks cool and the high collar and the Orb of Agamotto are kinda his trademark look.
  5. Pretty sure RAI on that is his own Power(s) not just STR or EGO. We're not in Pathfinder Society.
  6. I think they are basing it off the post Civil War, Secret Avengers/New Defenders titles. They don't even have the rights to half the original Defenders.
  7. Third book, Calamity, is scheduled for February 2016.
  8. All Star Superman is considered an Elseworld. The overload from solar radiation being one of its main differences from canon. Every other storyline I remember has Kryptonian power levels vary with solar sequence. Just this run of Supergirl has Kara weaker under Orange, ridiculous OP under Blue and powerless under Red.
  9. I think that collateral damage is from Man Of Steel, just from Wayne's point of view. They need that to justify the antagonistic attitude Batman has towards Superman in the film. Batman would always prepare something to take Superman down, because he's Batman, but he wouldn't start on the offensive without some type of motivation to think the worst. And Lex is probably inciting Wayne and any other members of the rich establishment against Superman because he's Lex.
  10. I think he"d be better as Captain Marvel.
  11. Champions Complete has the starting versions and Champions Universe has the more experienced versions.
  12. As I said before, The resistance to the friction heat is built into your flight(unless you bought it with a disadvantage) otherwise the character would burn up while matching speeds. So it becomes a matter of Flight STR. Here's a good example. The Nu Gundam is capable of re-entry on its own, the other suits are not. https://youtu.be/gB89HFPsbDw?t=424
  13. Friction Resistance is built into Flight. Anything that reaches hypersonic speeds in the atmosphere has to deal with that kind of heat.
  14. Well, they could if they were willing to sacrifice a third of the box office and didn't plan on selling anything there again. But I think we know how short that thought process would be.
  15. Steve's ruling confuses me because it is not consistent with the effect of 4 point Martial DC's. In printed material and Hero Designer, requires 2 Martial DC'S to add 1d6 to the NND Martial Moves and only 1d6 for the normal damage. Two skill levels only add 1d6 to normal attacks, so why would they add the same to ANY advantaged attack. No matter how low the advantage it still cost more than 5 points per die. Edit: Looks like Steve has ruled that it takes 2 DC to add 1d6 to Nerve Strike.
  16. You are on the right track. Damage over Time will eventually bypass the targets defenses but you must still have a condition that turns off the power. There's no way around that and there should not be. Use Side Effect to hit the user with the power. The user presumably knows how to turn the power off or has control of it. If he stops it on himself he stops it on the target. That way he gets no benefit from his Limitation.
  17. Some oldies and some things not mentioned: Empire of the East by Fred Saberhagen. Riddle of Stars series and Forgotten Beasts of Eld by Patricia McKillip. A Man of His Word series by Dave Duncan. The Dresden Files and Codex Alera by Jim Butcher. Saga Of Pliocene Exile by Julian May. (Science-Fantasy but well worth it) and seconds to Vlad Taltos series by Steven Brust. Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. Black Company series by Glen Cook.
  18. If you feel the need to drop a characteristic, then CON is the one to go. Move the few rolls it is used for to BODY. Have the Stunned mechanic work when you take more than 1/2 our current STUN.
  19. If it's personal, then it's pure special effect for the Multipower or VPP. If it's an item that you pull things out of, then that's a Focus for the Multipower or VPP.
  20. As long as you don't pick up and store things, it's just a special effect. You could be summoning the items from another dimension, teleporting them from storage, creating them by transformation or visually mainfesting your psychic power. All just SFX .
  21. Finished Dead Ice, LKH's newest Anita Blake story. Overall pretty good read. Much more like the earlier books( only two sex chapters out of 500+ pages) but with a mellower Anita.
  22. The problem is Dr. Solar (early version) and Solar, Man of the Atom(later version) are very different characters. The early version is what one can reasonably make. He 'd be slightly better than the version of Firestorm used in The Flash. Just add some senses and power stunts and a moderate amount of STR. Flavor with his side effects and you're golden. Solar, Man of the Atom would be more a combination of New 52 Captain Atom and Firestorm. Powerful Brick, Master of Quantum, Subatomic and Atomic energies and Reality Warper. Detachment from humanity is an ongoing issue but as overpowered as Silver Age Superman.
