Thats guy must hate any fiction with unreliable narrators.

I like Derek's -1/4 limitation on the low power systems such that they only work when there's END in the reserve, if the situation willcome up enough to be worth that much.
Another possibility is a Dependence on a charged battery, using the option to have powers top working instead of taking damage. I'd probably only give it five points, but if it happens a lot, and there are a lot of powers, maybe ten.

My solution, as a GM, is to extend the spreading rules to HtH attacks. If you've got a punch that can do meaningful damage to the big bad, it should be able to do a pretty good job on three of their minions at -2DC.
Balance-wise, I don't see a good justification for only allowing ranged attacks to be spread.

Well, supposedly there's a recording of him threatening to have her killed.

AREA-AFFECTING CONSTANT POWERS
If a Constant Power affects an Area (either inherently or because the character purchases the Area Of Effect Advantage for it), the Power remains in effect in the Segments between the attacker’s Phases. Any target who enters the area takes damage or is affected in the Segment he enters and every time the attacker’s Phase occurs while the target remains within the area.

But as I pointed out, that just creates an uncontrolled constant power; it only does damage on the phase of the person who created it. Its not a damage shield.
As far as I can tell, it works the same. An area-affecting constant power affects anyone who enters it when the enter it, and every one of the power owner's phases thereafter while they remain in it. A Damage shield using area of affect-surface affects anyone who touches it when they touch it, and every one of the power owner's phases thereafter while they remain in contact with it.

How about a barrier that prevents teleportation, with an auto-resetting trigger (whenever someone tries to teleport him)?

Just finished the latest Murderbot novel. It did not disappoint.

Just a sec, I'll adjust the horizontal hold.

Wow, so if I completely rewrite the Game of Thrones books in my own words and call it my own work, I would be safe from any legal challenge?
If you change all the character names and place names, as well as the names of any events then you have a decent chance of getting away with that. See Fifty Shades of Grey (or don't, if you value your sanity).
But it's not really relevant because game mechanics are excluded from copyright by long-established case law. On the other hand, any part of the game beyond pure mechanics may well be subject to copyright, and I don't know of any cases involving RPGS that firmly establish where the line is between mechanics and theme/setting/etc.
Further, as mentioned above, just because you might win in the end, all other things being equal, that doesn't mean that you couldn't be bankrupted by a law suit before you could prevail.

The side effects on the vaccines seem so random. I'm 55 and reasonably fit (I run 5k a few times a week), and just got a mildly sore area and exhaustion for one day. My friend who is 35 and working on hitting Olympic qualifying times for running got shivering, sweating, and severe body aches (plus exhaustion).

Just got it! Oregon Convention Center in Portland.
I really hope you mean the vaccine and not the virus.

I just received my second Moderna injection. Soon I will be invincible!

I'm pretty sure is was Billy Joel's Glass Houses. There's a chance, though, that it was Pat Benatar's In the Heat of the Night.
I know for sure that the first CD I bought was XTC's Skylarking, and the second was Jethro Tull's Original Masters.

You could try rappelling the insects rather than repelling them because it would give you more options.
Yeah, but you've got to be careful with your lines, else you could get tied up in gnats.

Red October is how I found my first Champions campaign.
I posted there that I was looking for a game to join and Bob invited me to play in his Sentinels campaign. I have a lot of fond memories from that campaign. I joined right around the time they were switching over to 4th edition to help playtest it before publication.

It's possible they're near something essential on the grid, like a hospital.
Even if that's the case, they should shut down their lights to reduce the strain on the grid.

It will be the same for a lot of us as If I Recall Correctly there was a board crash and we had to move to a new server/system. Congrats anyway.
Yeah, I was on the previous boards as well. But any dates associated with those have been lost in the mists of time.

So now I’m curious. After at least eighteen years of existence, how many members here are something other than White/Anglo/Pasty Faced males? I am a white guy and most of the real world players I used to know were, with a smattering of white women and black and Asian men.
I’m just wondering if that’s changed over the last couple of decades.P.S. Happy Anniversary Dr. Device.
Thanks.
My gaming groups have generally had decent gender diversity (even back when I was pretending to be a guy), but otherwise, yeah, pretty pale, overall.

"Dog Debtor?" Those vet bills do add up.
"Does our girl deal by tying rope?" self explanatory
"Do God Butter?" you don't want to know.
