John Ringo, the author, uses a real-world band (The Crüxshadows) in some of his books. That band is regularly booked at DragonCon.

The shaft is ray shielded, so you'll have to use proton torpedoes.

Michael Hopcroft
Re: "Neat" Pictures The one on the left is, of course, Edward Scissorhands. Who might have had to put some time in learning how to use his "fingers" more effectively (although IIRC he is a gentle soul who would eschew combat and would go out of his way to avoid killing anybody, which he could do alarmingly easily if he tried to fight). csyphrett
Re: "Neat" Pictures the only one I don't recognize is the picture of the man with a question mark head. The rest are obviously Connor McCloud, Teen Wolf, Tron Max Headroom, KITT, Egon Spangler, Sledge Hammer, and Pizazz. CES
Dr. Confoundo
Re: "Neat" Pictures the only one I don't recognize is the picture of the man with a question mark head. It's a recurring image from the actual League of Extraordinary Gentlemen books... for example, seen here on the cover of volume 1, issue 1:
