So, while the draft went away in 2010, they're bringing it back. Not just on paper, as it is in the US, either. They plan to conscript 4000 people. Not just the Netherlands -- much of Europe seems to be angry with the Turks, more specifically the Edrogan government that is trying to establish itself as a dictatorship. It is a quest that these disputes with Europe helps dramatically, and also adds to the power of openly anti-Muslim European politicians.
