But it's just the first trailer, so it may just be all the action stuff is still in CGI post-production and not yet ready for release. Christopher R Taylor Posted April 20, 2017 Report Share Posted April 20, 2017 I expect it to be full of "life is so hard as a teenager" annoyance, but hopefully only the first episode or two. If its like usual it will be endless flashbacks which I'd prefer to avoid but that seems to be the Marvel Netflix template. They always have been kids on the street from diverse backgrounds who had an awful time of it, but I hope they don't dwell on that too much. I don't want to see Dawson's Creek with superpowers. Christopher R Taylor Posted April 20, 2017 Report Share Posted April 20, 2017 I never used to really like the Wasp until I saw how she was portrayed in Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and then I really came to like the character. If they can make her that memorable and likable, which to be honest, the girl playing her really wasn't in Ant Man, that will be great. As a founding Avenger, she really should have been on the team to begin with, but I think her origin story was too complex and bumped up against Iron Man too much for comfort. IIRC she had an affair with Steve Rogers, but I can't remember if that was before or after Hank Pym nearly killed her with a can of bug spray, leading Steve to nearly kill Hank. And then there was the time she flashed her tits at the Hulk - while she was wasp-size, mind you - in order to get him to chase her instead of smashing things.
