I don't own The Ultimate Vehicle, so if this question is covered there let me know and I'll check the couch for loose change to buy it... But, my brain seems to have locked up on me, how would one simulate a Torso Twist with mecha (or any turreted vehicle) where you have a sixty degree arc of fire but can change the facing of that arc? just special effects or is there some cool point wise way of doing this on a vehicle sheet? (I'm assuming Limited Arc of Fire, but don't know how to make that a Mobile Limited Arc of Fire... or if I even should/need to.) The twist should allow a mech to fire in any given sixty degree arc except for a 110 degree arc to the rear of …

Need help with a Telekinesis limitation

I'm putting a requirement on the Telekinesis in my campaign, that its Endurance required increase with distance. Compare this with a lever: The farther out on it a load is, the more effort that is required to lift it. Any suggestions as to how to simulate this?

I'm considering starting a space mech game using Hero rules. I am experienced with champions, but havn't really played hero at all otherwise. So far, I think I want to have characters built using heroic rules with 125/125 disads, and another 100 to 150 points to build a mech with using vehicle rules. Does anyone out there have experience with this, and what books should I get? I've already ordered Ultimate Vehicle, and am considering Star Hero. For feel, this should be something like the Gundam Wing series, with the PCs in some of the best mechs out there, and pretty amazing in their own rights. Thank you in advance for any help.

I'm trying to draw up some basic floor plans for various starships from TE and the Spacers Toolkit. One problem I'm having is figuring out how much space/volume things like bridges, fuel, sheild generators, engines, etc. take up. I've searched through Star Hero, TE, the Toolkit and haven't found anything. This is kind of important because the players in my TE game want to run a merc/merchant/smuggling campaign and so I need some idea of how the ship is laid out. Thanks

a small 1 man grav vehicle used for various tasks around space stations and other orbital installations unarmed except for a plasma welder/cutter these are capable of moving around cargo containers and such and can lift move up to 30 tons this way

I have a couple of questions concerning the viability of using Sidekick as the core rules for a SH game. I know some have tried Sidekick as the core, not sure which genre's they are running. I haven't GMed a HERO game since 1983 and while I am completely comfortable using 5E it scares a couple of people in my gaming group (blind terror of the big black book). My game is "hard" SF. Lots of combat, a lot of it in zero-g. Cybernetics and personal enhancement will only be something the bad guys use. Big guns will be a staple. I'll be using the standard heroic level (75/75). For those with Hero Designer and Digital Hero #18, here's a prefab (with a couple of corrections from a version I posted earlier) for the TDSF. It does include the Disease Immunity Treatment from Spacer's Toolkit as part of the package, but the only pieces of equipment included are the two helmets described in the article.

Strangely enough, I need biographical information on George Bergstrom, the architect who designed the Pentagon for a historical game. Online or paper sources are equally good, but so far I can't find anything except that he designed the Pentagon.
