Been playing the Ghostbusters video game a bit lately, and started wondering about how to build the basic Ghostbusters equipment, the Proton Pack and Ghost Trap. The PkE Meter is easy. The proton pack is relatively easy, as I view it, at least ... TK that only works on ghosts, apparently with a linked Energy Blast that doesn't, because when they miss a ghost, stuff explodes. I briefly considered making the beam's effect on the real world a side effect, but it's often very useful to be able to blast doors and walls and stuff. The Ghost Trap has me utterly baffled, though. All I can come up with is XD Movement useable against others to pull the ghost 'inside'…

I wonder if there's enough commonality among insane fringe cultists that there could be a package deal to cover them. For instance, is there some degree of similarity between crazy degenerate Cthulhu worshipers in 1929 Arkham, demon-worshiping barbarians in Turakian Age Aarn, drugged-up psychic freaks on backwater worlds of the Terran Empire, and so on. I was idly going through some of my older gaming stuff (I can never bear to part with it, even though the chances of any of it actually being played gets remoter ever year) and I came across the Vampire: The Masquerade (VtM) book. I picked up some of the World Of Darkness (WoD) stuff back in the day, and even ran a Mage: The Ascension game for about two years that was a hell of a lot of fun. I am looking to form/join smaller super groups with two of my characters. The CO boards are a bit full of noise and guildies suffering from advanced WOWitis, and the sgs have members in the hundreds. I'd like find a smaller group of casual players for light roleplay in themed supergroups. FINN is my robot mage. Id like to have a mystic or robot themed group for him. I've been playing the PSP version of Soul Calibur quite a lot lately (at least in comparison with my usual time spent playing video games, which isn't a lot), and I was wondering how some of the multitude of characters, weapons and styles would work in HERO. (And I still don't know whether Dampierre is cool and stylish or a bloody nuisance. I certainly have a hard time winning with him....)

Hi Hero Worshipers: Derek Hiemforth runs a really fun campaign called the Darkwalkers. It is kinda like Men In Black but with magic.
