Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

Rav: Well, at least I know what's for dinner tonight.

Nero & Shep (almost together): What?

Rav: "Pop" luck!

Normally my eyes glaze over for long set-ups but this one was worth the wait.

Well, actually, Slyfox rolled luck. I mean, it's not like it is a bad thing for HIM to disrobe Juggernaut while at the same time finishing off a weakened robot ... the unluck was hers mostly.

Of course, Slyfox WAS blind during this, so might consider it still unlucky not to even have a chance to see the... ah, results of his shot.

Does anyone wonder why Speedzone thinks it'd be a bad idea for Slyfox to ever have access to fissionable material for his oft threatened 'tac nuc' arrow?

Wait... lemme guess, the radius of the explosion is larger than the range of the bow, right?

Summarizing her actions for most of the game session' date=' the newly-widowed player of Flora declares toward the start of the session, " . . . And then she cries." [/quote']

I assume it's the character who is newly-widowed? Not the player? (Considerably less funny that way...)

A few from this week's Fantasy Hero session...

Ben (ooc): Ron is poking your cat with a banana.

Bill (ooc): That had better not be a metaphor. :nonp:

-----

Trouble: Anyone with a last name of "The Necromancer" is probably bad.

-----

Castilla: I don't hate you just because you're a peasant.

Illy: That's OK. I don't hate you just because you're an a**hole.

-----

Illy: If Castilla's not dead, things can't be that bad.

-----

Zombies are attacking. The heroes run into a room and are looking for something to barricade the door with. One of them suggests using a bookshelf. I tell them that the zombies tore apart a solid oak table pretty easily, so a flimsy bookshelf probably won't slow them down much...

Player: Won't that depend on what's on the bookshelf?

Me (as a zombie): "Oh no, Finnegan's Wake! Nobody can get through that!"

Errr... ewww. Dude. Shouldn't that be "That had better not be a metaphor"?

Otter: "I'm going noplace to meet a nobody about nothing in particular. If you can keep your mouth shut' date=' you're welcome to come along."[/quote']Is Otter or the person he's talking to a speedster?

Because then he'd be going nowhere fast.

:D

Unfortunately, yes. And I had to shave my legs and "tuck." :drink::nonp::idjit:

Of course not... none of you actually believed me, did you?

Years ago at a LARP I saw a woman pull a prop battle-axe (at least a foot and a half long) from under her just-above-the-knee shirt. We never did figure out how she managed that, since it wasn't a particularly loose skirt and nobody had seen a thing up until then.
