SCUBA Hero
Re: Order of the Stick Is it weird that I want to salute a stick figure? If so, I'll stand with you in weirdness. I guess a minimalist painting considting of a single black dot on a large white canvas can be well or poorly done.

OddHat
Re: Order of the Stick O-Chul's has been mentioned as having a massive CON score and the highest HP total in the Saphire Guard. Then throw in his Paladin save bonus. Any spell with a FORT save is risky cast on him, unless you're much higher level.

Supreme Serpent
Re: Order of the Stick But will V be grateful for this rescue/probable sacrifice? I'm thinking that one of the possible courses of action for O'Chul is to actually kill V. - He has no real chance against Xykon - The teleport restrictions mean no backup for V Killing V should be pretty easy at this point, she's bound to have lost a lot of HP. It spares her the tortures that she would undoubtedly be subjected to, and wouldn't be able to stand up to them as well as O'Chul has. With V dead, hercompanions could True Res. her and get her back into action. Of course, O'Chul isn't aware of the contract.
Hermit
Re: Order of the Stick Go O-Chul! And judging by those tactics, O-Chul's INT score ain't half bad either. Of course, he's had a long time to think of just how to take a certain goblin out. Anyone else think that IF O-Chul lives and escapes, he and Red Cloak will have a true nemesis in each other that Rich could milk for all he's worth? Both would have every reason to be an implacable foe to the other.

Edsel
Re: Order of the Stick So how many people thing that this could be the end of Xykon? Isn't that amulet that he got from Red Cloak the item in which Xykon's own soul is stored? If it is destroyed by O-Chul what happens to Xykon? Doug Limmer
Re: Order of the Stick So how many people thing that this could be the end of Xykon?Unfortunately, not me. Dramatically, he has to fail. Isn't that amulet that he got from Red Cloak the item in which Xykon's own soul is stored? If it is destroyed by O-Chul what happens to Xykon?Nothing immediately; he can remake it. If Xykon is destroyed while the amulet is destroyed, he'll be destroyed for good, though. Sociotard
Re: Order of the Stick I think the amulet is there to regrow Xycon. A backup disk, if you will. And given Xycon's status as the baddie of the strip, I doubt even that is in danger.
Edsel
Re: Order of the Stick Still Xykon took a beating from V before the battle ended and I didn't see Red Cloak or anyone else do much to heal him. If O-Chul gets the drop on him he just might do the job or at least force him to flee so that O-Chul and V can possibly make an escape of some sort.
