Currently running a Savage Rifts campaign and for the first part of the story this is effectively what the party used, a tactical with a Light rail gun. If anyone ever landed a hit on the truck, it was toast, but it had a munch and the bed was big enough for the larger PC to sit in the back.

We just started a biweekly Savage Rifts campaign, too. Today'll be our third session.

Are you using one of the plot point campaigns or a custom campaign? We are on the back end of "With Spartacus" from the Atlantis and the Demon Seas book. PCs include:

Azael - Human Elemental Fusionist with a Greater Earth Elemental sidekick
Gramps - Orc Glitter Boy
Kaiden - Mystic Intelligent Construct (with the soul of a pre-cataclysm combat medic)
Ziggy - Human Techno-Wizard
