    What about powers that use an active SFX with passive mechanics? Improved Blocking Technique: Resistant Protection (3 PD) (6 Active Points); Limited Power Power loses about half of its effectiveness (Unarmed attacks only; -1), Costs Endurance (-1/2) (2 points) The character's skill at blocking attacks makes it difficult to land a full-power shot on him.

    It's built with the Dodge base. The limits for DCV are different from the other maneuver bases. (HSMA 96)

    How often do other people use his weapons? If it rarely (or never) happens, making the sword out of nothing is a cool special effect of his HKA. If the rest of the party routinely uses his weapons, then his HKA is Usable By Others. If he gives the swords to his personal guards (or army), they need to buy the sword as an HKA (Obvious Accessible Focus).

    I've always viewed the lack of a Psych Comp regarding killing (either way) as being similar to a soldier or a good cop. They aren't looking to take anyone out, but there are circumstances when they will use lethal force.

    It's never come up in play for me. However, I have toyed around with the idea that a character's flight can only support their normal mass, and every doubling of that mass reduces their Flight by 5m. The character's STR would only be used for holding on to objects.

    I think it's to keep Summon from being a cheap way to kidnap/rescue someone. With a VPP, one could theoretically summon anyone, with no defense.

    Disney is the one company I think can get away with starting their own streaming service, simply because they have so much existing IP. Amazon can leverage their other businesses, and Netflix has their current customer base. Everyone else has an uphill fight.

    Got pulled over on Thursday. Apparently the motor vehicle registration expired back in September, and the DMV never sent us a notice. And I had a brake light out. Cop was kind enough to give me a written warning for both, but finding a Franklin+ for the registration fee is being problematic.

    It depends on the character. They didn't lose them much, but they were at least moderately competent without them.
