Lord Liaden
3 hours ago, archer said: Probably. I'm referring to the 1950's Japanese movies which they used to show in the early morning hours of broadcast TV in the US. Yeah, the current versions of Godzilla -- American and Japanese -- have come a long way from those movies. Among many other scenes from the last two American Godzilla films, I think this one gives a good overview of the fighting style that Kong will be facing. The End Definitely, if they're on an infinitely large, flat, featureless plain. If they're in the classic Japanese city or New York though, King Kong is climbing all over buildings like he's in a King Kong-sized jungle gym. So Godzilla might rise up out of the ocean and atomic breath King Kong in the back by surprise. But on the other hand, King Kong could possibly mug Godzilla before Godzilla ever sees him. Or King Kong could throw buses (or steel girders as spears) at Godzilla from three blocks away then duck behind a building and scuttle off to a different angle. Really depends on the writing. Godzilla would seem to have an edge on abilities other than intelligence and dexterity.
