Which is sorta the point. If you're familiar with highly publicized rescue situations like this, you understand that REAL enemy in these situations is egotistical billionaires and politicians (particularly local ones) who, far more often than not, insert themselves into the situation and affect proper decision-making and endanger the mission. In any post-incident interviews, you almost universally hear that those people were actually the biggest impediment to the rescue.

Tomorrow morning, a lab tech will walk into the lab and find the little piece of amber cracked open... FROM WITHIN! The so called "fossil" is nowhere to be seen. Soon afterwards, all contact with the lab will be lost. The same will happen with the first emergency responders on the scene, as only a garbled radio call will be recorded... "...ahh... so many... kkkkkk...aaaa.... all over us... kkkkk..." Local news will show shakey camera shots of Myanmar soldiers setting up a road block, then the camera image will jerk skyward to the roar above, tracking two PAC JF-17 Thunder aircraft rocketing toward the lab location. Seconds later, the ground shakes violently from a massive payload drop. The next day, all contact with Myanmar is lost to the outside world. Seriously people... it all starts like this! The sort of arrogance that would lead you to believe it's possible to disrupt the spaceflight industry, or mass-produce award-winning electric supercars in the face of active opposition from the auto industry. I would venture to suggest that it's a different and less attractive kind of arrogance, perhaps more akin to the sort of arrogance that would let you accuse someone of a vile crime on no evidence in response to them pointing out that you have a scheme that simply will not work. Lucius Alexander The palindromedary says Lucius Alexander should probably know something about arrogance and suchlike character flaws, he's riddled through with them.
