Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

During a playtest for King of the Mountain, hopefully to be appearing in Digital Hero sometime next year.

Yo-Yo, to Ultra Gadget Queen G (That's right! Yo-Yo, master of Yo-Yo's and Robot Elvises, makes an appearance in this adventure): You DARE to mock me by controlling one of my robots and then shooting me with a marshmellow cannon? You will PAY for this!

Gideon (From Across the Battlefield): That's okay! We mock her too!

*slaps forehead*

Dammit, I wrote a villian group called "Peanut Gallery" for Digital Hero, and one of the characters I came up with was "Yo-Yolanda."

Well, Funky (You don't mind if I call you funky, do you?), don't blame me. Blame Marvelous Mark Arsenault and the "Throwing Stars and Bars" adventure.

It's 4th edition, but I had a little chat with Mark and everything's fine. Void, from GSVC, makes an appearance in the adventure too. Aaron Allston said go ahead.

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

The Edge is working on a case involving murderous Furbies -

Miss Chaos to Zero: "Check their minds. See if Black Paladin is here."

Terminus: "Black Harlequin."

Miss Chaos: "You look for who you're worried about, I'll look for who I'm worried about!"

(It turned out it wasn't the Furbies - it was Terminator T-800 dolls inside Furbies. They were promptly dubbed "Furbinators".)

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

My players run a team of heros out of Viboro Bay called The Stormguard. They don't really work as a team that often and have no team leader and its caused some issues and they are noted for a certain sloppyness. They are currently dealing with an attempt by the Dragon to escape envolving the the Elemental Gems of man and not doing well in their own estimation. Frustrated with this situation Providence an Angel that has joined the team at the Lords direction made the following empassioned statement. "Some thing hasn't been done around here and its something that needs to be done. God is not happy about it."

The drunken warrior timewarped from the Turakian age (yeah its a weird group) quickly quiped about a split second after Providences statement. "The keg needs refilled." (noding sagely) Everyone laughed and that sort of derailed Providences attempt to force them to name a leader.

I'd vote for the drunken Turakian warrior. A good leader needs to have his priorities straight. :D

Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group...

I'll take a few lines from later in the game to preface the rest, just so you know what sort of tone the game had last night, after its two-week hiatus.

Josh said, "Okay, if you have sex on the brain, raise your hand." Three hands (of four) went up. The fourth looked at us incredulously and said, "I'm just trying to play a game, here!"

Later, she said, "We are NOT playing Porn Hero!"

That said, the QsOTW:

"Oh, he's coming every night, all right."

"Who would've thought that flashing your breasts would get me to come to your aid so quickly?"

The character turned a few shades of red, then blurted out, "I'm gonna tell [your girlfriend]!"

Later, assuring their host that she wouldn't notice their sometime visitor, who's romantically attached to an NPC: "He can be very quiet . . . coming in and out . . ." As the rest of the party snickers quietly, she adds, "Of her room!" indignantly.

Yeah, fun game. ^ v ^

According to my wife, it sounds like she needs something nonverbal to settle down the others. Apparently one of those Australian seamless leather dice bags (tanned kangaroo scrotum) works well for this purpose.

Hey! We're not that bad!

Okay, I'll grant you that Todesmann is a bit...whacked considering his circum-

stances, but considering that we're in the earliest stages of being a super-

team, we haven't done too badly for not having an elected leader (the

fact that our organizer fell under the influence of a demonic artifact and turn-

ed to the dark side certainly hasn't helped matters in that regard). Personally,

I think that we've done fairly well, considering some of the baddies our group

has come up against since the campaign started.

Heh. Nah. It's all in fun. She recognizes that nothing good could come out of having her 20-COM character running out of her tent without a stitch on her.

Over on the Shadows Angelus page, I added a few new pieces of art to the "Pictures" section. I posted this one:

Next email to the SA list was "Do you have the rest of that?"

After a week or so, I think you should let us know how many requests you get :sneaky:

I know you have at least one so far...

Two. Three is you count the original request.

PS: Here's the character's sheet. 20 COM? You tell me.
