The cops showed up and took her off to get a psychiatric evaluation. The cops ended up knocking on the boyfriend's door a couple of times. Post-Brexit, the UK has decided they're essential products and removed the taxes on them. That isn't something I'd call a crash; that's hostile action. But the story does say that pilot skills eroded due to lack of flight time to stay sharp. I believe on Dateline or something similar, they had a story about some kidnapping rapist. The 2nd woman went to the place, gave a detailed description of the car including make and model. They didnt catch him till 3-4 women later because... She was off by one year on the make and model, and apparently they didnt think to look up the records of any other year.
